This is a fantastic product and my daughter absolutely loves it as she can play with her barbie and play dough at the same time, making the barbies a surprise tasty tea party. I believe this is a great product as it helps with the brain development and adds loads of creativity into the product, teaching children to explore with their creativity skills. My daughter loves the lights and sound effects as this brings the kitchen more to life. The play Dough is of great quality and i would highly recommend this product to anybody and everybody! Also my daughters favorite toy!

Amazing product, Great features & accessories

We have received this item as part of the Mattel Play, Rate and Review program approx. 2 weeks ago and my two girls aged nearly 8 and and 10 have played with it almost every day. The set is made up of a kitchen split into 3 sections which can be connected or kept separately, a Barbie doll (my daughters really liked the fact she is wearing an apron), lots of kitchen accessories  (e.g. knifes, forks, plates, cups, pot and pan & cooking utensils) and 5 pots of Barbie dough (white, red, green, yellow and beige).
The set is not only great for role play but also gets you creative with the dough which gives this set extra appeal in my opinion. The dough can be moulded by hand or you can use the many different moulds included (various vegetables, pies, chips, sandwiches)
Another exciting extra are the light and sound features. The hob lights up at the touch of a button and makes both sizzling and bubbling sounds whilst the oven has a timer feature which can be activated by pushing down a lever.
The Barbie kitchen playset is well made and sturdy and will give kids hours of fun.

More than just a Barbie playset

This product turned up at our house courtesy of Mattel (thank you) via their Try, rate and review service. 
The Barbie kitchen arrived well packaged. It was easy to assemble and there wasn't too much packaging.
My daughter, 6 years old, was truly delighted with her Barbie. The Barbie is lovely, has a great outfit and is much adored. We do wish it came with a stool or step which we could put her feet in/on so she could stand next to the kitchen appliances whilst we made her food. We are aware the packaging does say that the Barbie is not free standing.
The kitchen has lots of things to do. The cooker was an instant hit with the light up hobs and ‘ding' noise on the oven. The fridge is useful and the food moulds above (brocolli, mushrooms, tomato, carrot shapes) all work well. The chip maker was easily to use and made readily identificable food and my daughter liked that. 
The only part which we haven't got on well with is the burger/sandwich maker which comes out squashed and is a devil to get the remaining playdoh out of. 
The playdoh came in 5 colours and worked well with the shapes and moulds. 
My daughter gave it 10/10.

Been used continuously by both my girls aged 4 and 9. You can actually use all the little gadgets to make playdoe food for Barbie. My Barbie loving girls adore this kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Barbie Ultimate Kitchen is a toy that combines the fun of pretend kitchens, Barbies and playing with modeling dough. I know some parents have an aversion to their kids playing with this kind of dough but it really enhances the fun of this toy. My 5 year old daughter enjoys playing with this and she spends a good amount of time each time she uses it. I would recommend it for any child that enjoys playing pretend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off,  the box was really easy to open and the kitchen was super easy  to put together. My 5 year old daughter just loves posing her Barbie at the kitchen while she "makes" all different kinds of food. This is a great toy that has been keeping her busy for hours. The play-dough in my opinion, is actually of a superior quality to other leading brands. It's easily moldable and pliable. I like that even though Barbie has her french fry press, that there's also vegetables to cook. I've been using this has a conversation starter with my daughter of the difference between healthy and unhealthy food options. Overall, Barbie's Ultimate kitchen has been super fun for my daughter to play with and has helped to spark her interest in cooking too!!

Ultimate Fun with Barbie's Kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Barbie kitchen is wonderful. When i first seen how much this cost, I felt like it was way overpriced. After my daughter and I have played with this for two weeks, I believe this is worth every cent! My four year old daughter has played with this EVERYDAY and multiple times a day for at least two weeks! This kitchen really allows her to use her imagination as she and Barbie "cook" food for the whole family. Each piece is extremely easy to take apart and reassemble within seconds. This truly is fun for the whole family regardless of age, everyone in our family has taken turns playing kitchen, challenging each other to who can "cook" the best looking meal. This kitchen is a must have for any little girl!

Great for imaginative play

My daughter has had this toy for a couple of weeks now and loves it! She has hours of fun playing the it, making food items out of the play dough and using all the different elements on the kitchen part of the toy. There are a few small accessories with the toy so not ideal for younger children. 
The barbie doll that came with the kitchen is also great and the accessories can clip on to her hands.

Fabulous toy!

Amazing kitchen, lights and sounds work perfectly. The dough is a little messy but a lot of fun for kids. This will make a dream kitchen in a custom house. I would have given it five stars if the doll wasn't bald at the back of her head. She literally has the same amount of hair as dollar store dolls. I would throw her anyway because she's blond but if you care check yours before you disappoint a child.

It's not what I expected . When I seen this I thought it was the kitchen that stood on the floor. Only come to find out it was small pieces to set on a table. Was very disappointed. But my grand daughter still loves it. Will be looking for a different one soon
