I bought this game for my 4 year old to be able to play her "own" game on the Wii. This game is extremely difficult for her to use where my 9 year old has to help her do the basic games. It doesn't make it much fun for my 4 year old when her older sister has to finish the games for her! It also requires the nunchuck to be attached to the remote at all times yet you rarely even use the nunchuck to operate the game - this is extremely annoying! This game is too difficult for the traditional Barbie target audience...get the Dora/Diego games instead for this age group!

My daughter is a 4 year old who can play reader rabbit and jumpstart on the computer by herself, so she didn't have trouble at all with this game. After reading the reviews, maybe that is the difference and why she enjoys the game so much. It is much easier to do than other Wii games we have bought for her. I just read the directions aloud to her and she does it. She gets really excited when she unlocks another level--either the ship, the village, or the castle. She loves this game, and I don't think the other reviews really do it justice. Yes, you have to figure out what movements to do with the remote, but the game tells you exactly what to do before each challenge. I would highly reccommend this game to anyone with a little girl. 2 and 3 year olds may be a little young due to lack of attention span for it, but 4+ would moste definitely enjoy the game and the graphics!!

My daughter LOVES this game!!

My 2 year old loves Barbie Island Princess and has an older sibling so she thinks she is a big kid! We got the wii for Chanukah and I bought this game thinking with adult supervision, she could have a game of her own to play on the wii, since everything else is really geared toward older kids. Well, I don't know whta the age is on this, but it is really hard for little ones. I don't think that working the wii remote is so easy for adults, no less kids, and I don't think that the demographic for Barbie Island Princess (which in my opinion is 3-5) can do this game so easily. Just my opinion!

I got this product for my 4 year old and I like the games but don't like the price for it. It is still a little hard for her.
