Flexibility

So far, my primary use for Barge has been to repair shoes. I had my favorite pair of dress shoes, which always look good and are very comfortable, but had started to wear out on the bottom sole and the heels.  For about $12, I was able to get new heels and soles. I used scissors to trim each of those to fit. Then I sanded the heels to even because I had worn them thru the rubber heel cover into the wooden part on the outside edge. Make sure you follow the instructions and stick the surfaces together quickly after applying an even layer on both surfaces, pull them apart, and set a timer for 15 minutes. Because it smells bad until dry and sticks to everything, recommend wearing gloves and a mask and use in a ventilated area (pull out some COVID leftovers).  At 15 minutes, be as precise as possible putting both sticky surfaces together because it will quickly form a very strong bond.  I've had the new heels and sole for a few months, wearing these shoes almost every day to work, and it's as good as new.  So, instead of spending $60 or more to have them repaired, or $110 to replace them, I spent about $20 and still have plenty of glue left for future use on other projects.

Works well to glue leather. Dries fast and seems to hold very well so far. Used it to glue car driver's side seat. Using a patch on the inside  of the seat.
