I looked at several different mattress covers before purchasing this queen size allergy care cotton mattress encasing from the Allergy Store, and I'm happy to say I'm very pleased with it.  I noticed right away that I was sneezing less when in my bed. The fabric is tightly woven but not noisy. It fit perfectly over my pillow top mattress, and best of all, I got the encasement on the mattress without much trouble. I don't know why some of the Reviewers complained about it being difficult to get on and saying it is a two person job, I'm an 80-year-old woman and I did it by myself.

Allergy Store

Years ago, I bought a cover from this company and immediately stopped itching every night when I went to bed. We recently bought a new bed.  The mattress was a little thicker so we needed a new mattress protector. 
My big problem is dust mites. So I bought a new cover to protect our new mattress and also covers for the boxsprings. I spent years just itching when I went to bed and not understanding why. It's such a pleasure to go to sleep.

We bought one of these a few years ago for our mattress when my husband was having allergy issues with dust mites. Now our daughter is also allergic to dust mites, and we thought we should try this again. So at the same time she was getting a new mattress, we got her this mattress cover and it really does help. Thanks for a great product.

Really helps with dust mite allergy

Oh yeah ... we use these on every mattress including our mattress in our RV.  Dust mite allergies prevention.  We love these especially how tight the fabric is woven.  Used them for years!

Love these tightly woven cotton mattress covers!

I love the matress protecter, however your shipping is way too slow.  It was a week before my order even left the warehouse and another before I received it.  For that reason I will shop elsewhere next time.

This is a vast improvement over the last case that i had, which had a plastic coating lining and was slippery.  The guidelines for fit were spot on and the matress stays put.

Worthy investment

Very substantial material, washes and dries beautifully, and large enough to handle newer mattresses.

Good cover

The fabric is wonderful, just too large for my full size mattress.  I washed it and put in dryer to hopefully shrink.  I think it did shrink a bit.  It is nice to have my organic nontoxic mattress covered now, was new 4 months ago.

Wonderful Fabric

Quality of material was excellent. However, I measured per the instructions on the website prior to ordering. The item received was much too large for my mattress Despite following those specific measuring instructions.  Had to return the product which was not the easiest process.

Too large

After reading other reviews, I bought a 12” size for a 9” mattress. I didn't pre wash and there is no extra room for shrinkage. Also the material has a weird glossy feel.

Small sizing and strange texture

Have a heated mattress pad? Forget using it with this encasing. 

The zipper on the encasement is a single zipper  that closes on the side of the mattress. It would be better if the encasement had a double zipper that allows the encasement to close at the foot of the mattress to accommodate for cords associated with a heated mattress pad.
