[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't used it much yet but my son is 9 %26 we bought this one since he's a beginner. Wish it came with more arrows but the price point was right !

Great beginner bow for the price

Great starter bow for my 6 year old. Light and fits him perfect for his size, 3.5 feet. Would recommend this product.

Kids love them

The cams make it easy for a kid to use. Definitely a good purchase for a beginner.

Nice bow, easy to pull

Bought this bow for my children (10 and 16 y.o.) and found out that it was perfectly fine for them and us parents too, to have a go at practicing with them! The packaging says that is for kids ages 5-8 but we found it just fine as a starting bow for ANY age. The fact that it doesn't allow for the arrows to be shot with crazy strength -no more than of  8.2 kg, (18 lb)- makes it even safer than other bows that, while more age appropriate, can also be more dangerous for newbies.
We paid $30 at our local Canadian Walmart on July 2022 and, after looking around for pricing, this is just a very good price for this item with this quality. It came with two arrows, one adjustable sight pin and a user manual with little information, which is not enough for newbies. Unfortunately, didn't include a quiver like the their other model, the green Centeshot. Maybe they could have include it and charge a couple dollars more. It comes preset for right handed people and didn't say that one has to place the arrow on the LEFT side of the handle/rest but, we figured it out eventually.
While we are still learning (just a few days so far) we can actually aim and hit near so this means that we are getting better and is not the bow failing. Improving strength on the arm that hold the bow and stability is proving important.
Tried to contact Barnett's support by e-mail and wasn't lucky but upon calling them (they are in Florida so mind your time zone) Jerry was super nice and knowledgeable and friendly.
All and all, great product, affordable and solid customer support Will get another one!

Fun for the whole family!

Picked this up for my 7 almost 8 year old and the whole family ended up shooting it Thanksgiving day. Everyone, ages 4 to 60  had a blast with this lil guy!
