[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a Spark Reviewer for Walmart and was sent a free 35th Anniversary My Little Pony Classic Pretty Parlor with the pony “Peachy” to review. I remember in the 80's how all the little girls had My Little Pony's to play with. My niece had several and loved to play with them. This Pretty Parlor is a cute toy for the little ones. The Parlor is very easy to put together and took me about 7 minutes. All the pieces just snap together to form a stable that opens to show a beauty parlor for “Peachy” the horse. There is a platform for Peachy to stand on while getting prettied up and the rear wall of the stable has a mirror. Peachy has a long mane and tail in pink. She is about 5” long and 4” high making her easy to hold onto for small hands. All the accessories are easy to hold for little hands. There is a comb and brush to groom Peachy. There are two hats that sit on her head by putting the ears through the holes on the hat. There is a bridle, a basket to carry and a saddle so there are many combinations of looks to give Peachy. Peachy has a friend “Twinkles” the cat who also is included. The Parlor closes to form a stable and even has a gate with a hook closure, making this a carrying case and a great take along toy. What I really like about the My Little Pony Pretty Parlor is there is no batteries needed, no electronics, just 100% fun playtime where my granddaughter can use her imagination and play. The Parlor is recommended for ages 3 and up and I agree to that because the children need to be out of the chewing on things and putting everything into their mouths stage for this toy.

The parlor has places to hang brush , bridle and saddle on one side and on the other side to hang the hats. The hair on peachy is really soft and easy to brush. My granddaughter loves to play with my little ponies and sits for hours playing with it and I get to play with her too. Looks like the my little ponies from back in the 1980's . Brings back lots of memories from the 80's of babysitting days and playing with my nieces and their my little ponies.

35th Anniversary- My Little Pony Set !!

The play set allows them to use their imagination and helps with their fingers. To include a little pony with the play set is an asset that is truly welcomed. The pieces are a little hard to snap together for the little ones but with a little help, they snap just fine. I would definitely purchase again.

nice for Grandchild

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Growing up, My Little Pony was all the rage. I had them all and LOVED them. I got this playset because I thought it would be a great way to introduce my 4 year old niece to My Little Pony, hoping she would love it as much as I did growing up. She has not stopped playing with it. She loves Peachy and to make up stories about her & the farm she is on and the stable she lives in. I have gotten so much enjoyment out of watching her play. The toy is of really great quality and I plan on adding more My Little Pony toys to her collection soon!

My niece loves it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was for my 5 year old granddaughter. She loved the pony very much and all of the accessories! However, most of the items were too difficult for her to play with completely on her own. She was unable to get the bridle, saddle and hats on by herself. I had a little trouble, too because they were so tight on the little horse. The stable/pretty parlor is cute, but it also was difficult for little hands to put together and then open and close. The door to the stable has an opening in it and can pinch fingers easily. Knowing these things, it's still a fun play set, but just be aware that little ones will be very frustrated at not being able to use all of the accessories without help and the hinge side of the stable door will pinch fingers.

Very cute, but accessories hard for little hands

I got it for my daughter because she loves horse's/MLP. This was the first MLP set I received as a child as well. This is a very cute set as far as the pony cat and some accessories go but it seriously lacks in the quality department. The parlor falls apart on one side everytime my daughter picks it up. Its not the pin hinge it used to be. The door also comes off very easily. The bridle I can barely get on myself let alone a child doing it. It is very tight and even after struggling to get it on it will not buckle properly. Over all its cute and I will be keeping it though.
