Very sturdy solid wood desk of surprising weight and strength. Ideally a buddy is needed to help install especially when the two sides of the desk are joined.

Feels sturdy and looks great.  Easy to assemble and most tools included just needed screw driver.  Was hesitant to order a desk from Walmart but very impressed with the materials and looks absolutely amazing.

I love this desk. I did secure the area that connected the two desk together. Besides that, its perfect. Very happy with desk.

Great quality and extremely easy to put together.

The desk came packaged very nicely. It was easy to assemble, very sturdy, and well constructed. Not cheap material like other options at this price point.  The one drawer even has an outlet and USB port!  The only complaint is that the screws attaching the two pieces do not seem to hold the L shape together well, but a few extra screws did the trick. It is also missing a knob.

Extremely good value for the price point. The desk is made from actual wood/wood veneer - NOT chipboard/particle board. It's a lighter weight wood, but still seems much more sturdy (and looks more classy in my opinion) than "faux" wood. It's definitely not a high end furniture store piece, but the fit and finish are still very good. I found this exact desk listed on another website for almost three times as much, so the Walmart price is an absolute steal! 

I'm using it in a small bedroom turned home office, and the size is adequate for my needs. For reference, a 27" iMac fits perfectly in the corner with enough room in front for the keyboard/mouse/trackpad. Also, each "arm" of the desk has enough room for a dual monitor set up, if that's something you need. The open design of the bottom keeps the desk from feeling bulky despite its size. I really like that it is finished on ALL sides, so you can rotate it in any direction depending on your space. I love the fact that the desk has drawers (so many in this price range do not). They ARE a tad shallow, but still big enough to hold the basics, like spare pens and paper. Also, the built in charging station works wonderfully and is super convenient. The drawers do stick a bit when opening. It's almost like they click in place when closed, so you have to give them a little tug to pop them back open. Definitely not a deal breaker though, and they may become easier to open over time. 

A few small issues to note: 

1) The packaging could be better. The desk arrives in two separate boxes, and both were fairly banged up. The desk itself was not damaged. However, the hardware bag had ripped open and screws, washers, etc. were scattered EVERYWHERE inside one of the boxes. 

2) The plastic grommets that go in the two holes on the desktop (for cable management) were missing, and I'm not exactly sure how to request replacements. The desk is functional without them, so not a huge concern. 

3) The assembly instructions could be a bit more clear.

4) The varnish used on the wood DOES have a a pretty strong odor when it's first unboxed. If you're especially sensitive to smell, you might want to allow the desk to air out in the garage for few days.

Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a well-built, WOOD, l-shaped desk that looks more like a piece purchased from a furniture store - not something you bought for less than $150 and put together yourself. Time will tell how in terms of how it holds up to daily use, but so far, so good!

Beautiful Wood Desk for the Price!

The desk is ok for the price. The spot where the two pieces connect does not hold and the entire right side fell on me. Needs longer screws as they don't connect through the other side of the hole. There was also a support in the underside of the desk that is cracked. All in all it's just ok from me.

Ok desk

I know you get what you pay for, and I know this is a relatively cheap desk. However, it came with broken pieces, wrong pieces, and only instructions in French. Luckily I was able to find a way to fix it enough to put it together, because I needed this desk in place 2 weeks ago when I ordered it, and I was not about to wait a long time for a replacement.
