Price

This rest is a great value and is a must if you do a lot of shooting. Price was much less than at my LGS. Ordered on Monday and it arrived at my local store on Wednesday. Can't beat that. Assembly is simple and it functions well. Ordered another one for a friend of mine. You will not be disappointed.

Caldwell Products are well constructed and this rest is all that. Very stable platform and adjustable for all shooting conditions. The reason I purchased this from Walmart was price and shipping cost. They beat my usual shooting supply stores hands down. Shipping was timely and the item arrived well packaged. The buyer should know, the rest comes with no assembly instructions. This is not a real issue as you can download them as a PDF file right from Caldwell, so this is not a real issue. For the price, this is an excellent rest and you will not be sorry if you purchase one.

I bought the Rock Deluxe several years ago.  It was not my first rifle rest, but it could be my last unless I buy another to go along with the one I have.  I don't want to share mine with a shooting partner at the range  so it I have a second, whoever is shooting with me, be they one or more can take turns with that one.  The other rests that I have used don't measure up

Works well. Support the forend to make consistent shots. Easy to adjust. I like it. Fit for purpose.

Well made an easy to use.

I wasn't expecting competition level equipment but was expecting the bag to last more than one round of shooting. The rifle was a .308 Remington 700P w/ factory stock, so no fancy rails attached etc. to tear it. Additionally, it was only 33 rounds: 8 "sighter"/barrel fouling and 25 for record during a 200yd local IBS match. I was just dipping into this shooting arena from F-TR and bipods so will end up going with a better quality bag and fully adjustable rest.

Worked as expected but bag split on first use.

The cradle does not line up properly with the base. Poor quality control. The base should have been tossed into the reject bin.

Defective

Bag supplied with rest is junk. 3rd range visit and the stitching came apart spilling the filler and becoming useless.

Cheap shortcut taken

Used my deluxe shooting rest twice and the cheap plastic bag material tore.
