Ease Of Assembly

I love this desk. It fits perfectly in my bay window and goes well with my farm style furniture.  Easy to assemble. Now I can sit back,  relax and enjoy  the view.

The factory obviously heeded the many reviews about this arriving damaged and upgraded their packing strategy. All corners were packed with foam. Everything was padded, wrapped, and bundled with ties. Not a ding in sight. And to my happy surprise the entire thing is already assembled but the LEGS which take 5 min each to screw into the already threaded hole using the allen wrench they provide. Corresponding number stickers made it a no-brainer. A drill with the proper tip would have sped that up. Allen wrenches are kind of a pain. 
So, this piece is so pretty. The wood on the top is not screen printed BS. It has a beautiful texture and tone that compliments all of my distressed/driftwood kind of frames and art. We have a bed frame from IKEA that is a gorgeous greyish brown color and they discontinued that color for the dressers and desk. I got the white dresser. This desk ties it all together nicely. 
It would be great if the drawers had smooth runner hardware. There's no hardware, just wooden drawers. I suggest bringing a drawer with you when purchasing other white decor to make sure the whites don't clash. I purchased a wall mirror in mint blue to avoid that problem there. 
I felt comfortable buying this because I found a girl on YouTube who gives a tour of her desk (that's apparently a thing) and she had this desk and thankfully put the brand and style in the tag words. I got to see it up close. 
If you're a real stickler for authentic detail there are repeatitive distress patterns/markings on the drawers that give away that this is a factory made distress but I don't care. It's gorgeous, I can stand things on both levels, and it makes me happy.

Nice desk

Lovely

It is a nice piece at a reasonable price.  It came well packed and undamaged and was easy to assemble.  It can be used as a small desk or a vanity.  Just add a small chair and mirror if you like.

Good Value

very nice and as pictured, but came damaged and had to return

I bought this desk twice from Walmart and another distributor and it's so badly packaged that it came damaged twice! I reached out to Baxton Studio's  customer service and no one has helped me. I love the desk, it's beautiful and super well made but not going to spend this money to get a severely damaged desk. It's a shame. I've seen several posts on different websites with the same comments. All they have to do is package the desk better to take care of the issue but doesn't seem  they care enough to do so.
