The design is poorly thought out.  

You must force wooden (not real wood) dowels through the backside of the drawer faces.  The dowels are easily pushed through the front face of the drawers.  VERY EASILY! 

Now, I have a chest with two holes in the front of one of the drawers.  I have emailed the company FOUR times.  I do receive responses, but the responses only communicate that the company does not have a remedy.  I asked specifically to have the J piece replaced.  After all my emails, I still do not have a replacement piece or an email offering a replacement piece.  

The construction design of this piece should at the very least caution against inserting the wooden dowels.  I understand the piece is not fabricated out of real wood, but because the pressboard is so soft, the idea of forcing the wooden dowels into the inadequately drilled (too small) holes will result in pushing the woodlike dowels through the front of the piece. 

I rated the product two stars because the 'look' of the piece was a perfect match to the room's decor elements. 

I would NOT recommend this item.  I would NOT purchase this item again.  In fact, it is useless to me in its current condition.

I was really hoping these night stand would be as good as it looks. But I never got the chance to put it together, completely. 
The instructions and pictures were so bad . The the nuts and hardware  sent with package kept breaking. So frustrating .We took it back to the store.
