I bought this for our living room to keep my kids' piano books in. I had them put it together. They are 15 years old and were able to put it together entirely on their own.  It looks great and seems like a real piece of furniture in the room.  I love it! Great purchase!

It looks like the picture, Not real easy to assemble but it is doable. But it is just what I was expecting.

Good purchase

This storage unit is very practical,  looks great, priced fairly and sturdy. I bought three of them to line the wall of my living room- they lineup flush and looks like one long piece. They're contemporary and stylish. I could see these being used in any room in the home. It gets 4 stars because a few of the pieces came with small scratches and knicks and also it took 1 week to receive them- NOT 2 days as promised when I've already completed the purchase online-but otherwise a great piece of furniture!

Easy to put together if you have common sense

I'm no amateur to assembling furniture. This piece is beautiful. However, it takes A LOT of brute strength to assemble without a drill. The pilot holes that are pre-drilled aren't nearly enough to make the screws go in easily. There are also no pre-drilled holes for the legs. I personally didn't use a drill when assembling as I'm not sure where my drill is, and my hands hurt a lot as a result. Particularly, it takes a lot of force to screw in the hinges both to the door and the cabinet. It also does not specify any weight limits for the surfaces. Overall it is a pretty good product for the price but assembly is NOT easy. 

If you also won't be using a drill, I highly recommend laying the bottom piece flat (unfinished side up) before connecting the side pieces to make screwing in the legs easier. It makes screwing the sides in with the allen wrench more tedious, but it would be very hard to screw in the legs if the bottom piece is upright and you can't put as much force behind your screwdriver. This worked well enough for me. I still wish the pre-drilled holes were done better, though.

Hardest Assembly I've Ever Done

Nice cabinet.  A little darker than pictured but still works!  I have put together things like this before, but this was a little frustrating.  Next time will consider having it assembled before delivery.

Not terrible but not as good as IKEA...had to drill pilot holes for the little plastic feet and the panels were extremely dirty. Door panels are flimsy wooden slats. But it comes with all necessary screws and nails, so its solid...thats something.

Not bad, not good

I received this and tried to put it together, I've done many assembly required products this was the worse......there were no predrilled holes , nothing lined up. Was going to send it back, but really loved the look of it so I had to hire someone to put it together and they even said it shouldn't be sold like this. It is a very beautiful cabinet, and very well made, but assembly was a nightmare.

Listen to the Reviews- I'm upset that I didn't. After getting all of the pieces out, I  realized that one of the legs was broken in the packaging still and the boards didn't have holes drilled in for assembly. Sending it back and going for something different.

Some of the panels were scratch up, luckily it was the inside of the cabinet so we made it work. Also, the 4 hinges didn't match so we had to find different ones to use. I wasted my money. Will never buy from that company again.
