With everyone working from home, office desks and chairs have become like sanitizer and Lysol...hard to find.  If you get lucky, order quickly and order what you need. I was lucky enough to find this Nico desk.  I really wanted an adjustable desk that I could get in short order and did not cost a fortune.  It came down to this one and a similar manual adjustable one from IKEA.  I am so glad I selected this one.  It's different...and cool...and sturdy...and heavy...so ensure that you put sliders under it if you plan to move it.  Otherwise, you will like need two able bodies to move it once it's assembled.

I have read some reviews about the table top being 'fake' wood, but you really can't tell...and for the price, who cares?!?  It looks really good, and the grain of the wood looks pretty close to real.  Also, it does not take long to assemble (an hour or less), as long as you follow the instructions and avoid tightening the whole thing until you have it all put together.  It can be assembled with the Allen wrench...but it might be helpful to have a power screwdriver handy.  

The only down side is that you kind of need to decide what height you want before you put it together and/or ensure that you have an assistant when you try to adjust it.  There is no way to hold the desk top up and adjust the legs at the same time.  That drawback notwithstanding, I like it so much that I want a second one...but alas, it's sold out!

I Wish I Had Purchased TWO!!

I bought 2 of these, 1 arrived in great condition. It was easy to put together and is heavy and sturdy. Iâm using it as a stand up desk and I love it! The second one did not come with the hardware and looks like it was dropped on the corner. Trying to return it so far has been a bit of a nightmare.
