This MDF wood cabinet features two shelves at the top concealed behind a pair of doors with space to store plates and glassware. Additional storage is found in two concealed shelves at the bottom of the cabinet. An open compartment in the middle of the cabinet is ideal for storing a microwave blender or other appliances. This compartment is fitted with a circular cut-out to enable easy concealment of appliance cables and wires. The Portia is also built with a drawer for utensil storage as well as an open shelf for additional plate and glassware storage. Black metal handles on the doors and drawer complete the look. The solution to stylish and convenient kitchen storage lies within the Portia cabinet.

I had been looking for a cabinet for a particular spot in my dinette area. This fit perfectly. I ordered it. It arrived - no issues. The instructions for putting it together could have been more explicit, but with time and patience we got it done. It was worth the price and certainly serves its purpose

Love the style,color and size. Dod not like the setup. Instructions were very poorly written didn't have any instructions on how to install the rails to the drawer.  Tried to contact the manufacturer had no luck. Had my son-in-law and daughter put the cabinet together for me. They spent about 3 hours and got disgusted when it came to the drawer. It took me about another 3 hours the next day trying different ways to install the rails to the drawer. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for very poor and missing instructions.

The actual shelf is perfect. I do suggest you get it put together as the instructions were a disaster. My only problem was that the dots to cover the screws were brown and the cabinet is more grey. It is very sturdy and lots of space. Overall a great piece of furniture.

Worth the money

Probably wouldn't but again. Came with one page of instructions, a giant bag of acres, nuts and dowels with no instructions on which goes where. One side came broken and one door is warped. Impressed with the outcome, but it took 5 hours to put together due to lack of instructions and broken pieces.

this is heautiful but no handles came with it.  So none of the doors can open correctly

Broken pieces, missing handles and instructions was hedius. Wouldn't recommend!!

Horrible! Do not order, I didn't receive instructions. I had to email the company who originally made it and it is not worth $200.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it arrived cracked and damaged.  There was only one person delivering instead of two and he needed some help for these large items.  The trick he was given to use had no forklift or dolly. No way of handling these items properly. I think the shipping companies should do better by their employees.

Despite the two negative reviews I read on other sites about this cabinet, I decided to purchase it anyway.  I should have trusted those reviews.  As I was assembling the unit, the shelves and supports didn't sit flush against the sides.  The tracks for the drawer, only had holds pre-drilled on the support sides, not on the drawer itself making it impossible to attach the other tracks properly to get the drawer to line up.  The hinges had no holes pre-drilled in the doors which meant you had to guess where to put them.  Again, this was extremely difficult because if you are off even just slightly, the doors don't close properly and match up with the other one.  Such a disappointment for something that I truly was excited to get.  Back to the store it went.
