Once upon a time, there was a young witch named Cereza... Long before this trainee of the dark arts would come to be called Bayonetta, she took a fateful journey into the forbidden Avalon Forest. Alongside her was Cheshire, her very first demon, possessing Cereza's stuffed toy. Play as both Cereza and Cheshire and search through the treacherous forest to look for the power to save Cereza's mother. Control both Cheshire and Cereza to solve puzzles and fend off fiends Any good story has a lesson about teamwork, no? In this tale, Cereza and Cheshire coordinate their efforts to fight faeries and solve puzzles. Use the left Joy-Con™ controller to move Cereza and bind enemies with her magic. With the right Joy-Con controller, move Cheshire to slash and chomp foes. Turn the pages of Cereza's story as you explore the enchanting, storybook-inspired Avalon Forest Avalon Forest is just as beautiful as it is beastly. Each new area looks like it has been painted carefully by hand. Fully narrated story scenes are told through the vibrantly illustrated pages of a storybook. Be sure to stop and smell the roses in this whimsical world, but don't tarry too long-the forest has a taste for lost witches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Apparently the version I got was a UK version, not the US version. The only noticeable difference was on the case and card with the rating (pegi rating system instead of saying T for Teen, etc.). The game is fun and exactly what I expected after playing the free demo on the Nintendo eshop.

Game was what I expected it to be

walmart.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've just started playing and so far it has totally grabbed my attention. I'm more a fan of adventure then the amount of action in game play of Bayonetta 1,2 and 3 so this is much more my style. I can now at least say I'm at least a fan of the beginning of the Bayonetta series.

Bayonetta Origins is an Excellent choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super fun game! Bayonetta fans and newbies will love the different take on the series and appreciate the details that were included. I loved the puzzle aspect and art style. Black Friday deal made it even better!

LOVED IT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really wanted this item but overpriced at all other locations. Walmart had the great deal and I had to take it up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great game exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. Highly recommend if you are interested in the Bayonetta series or even if you are new to it.

Fun adventure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you love the Bayonetta series you'll love this prequel. Came in record time and the packaging was in perfect condition.

Quick and Perfect condition

It's not like your traditional Bayonetta games. With that said, if you are looking for something fun to play and have reasonable expectations, I recommend this game.

Good but different

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Game is in good condition but there was a tear in the seal. Doesn't matter to me because I'm going to open it anyway, but could matter to collectors.

Item as described, seal torn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was great, the English voice acting annoyed me but the Japanese dub was great! Annoying the harder difficulty only unlocks after the game unless you typed in a cheat code considering how easy it was

Great game

I feel ripped off. This item did not say it would be a global edition but it is. Global editions are worth less than the N American editions

Beware, Global Edition
