So far, this warming throw/blanket is working as advertised.  I put it on HI and it got warm quickly and I ended up putting it on LO which was just right.  I don't think I will wash it - it is just me - don't really think that would be good for the wires, etc.  It is very soft and I love the blue color.  The plug is kind of a bugger to get plugged into the blanket end - it won't come unplugged by itself because you have to depress a sort of "button" to even unplug it!...but I guess that is for safety sake.

Looked at various throws. Since my Wife is always cold I thought a heated throw would be the best choice. I picked this one because of the large size.
It is much heavier than her previous throw .Don't even use the heater for her too warm up

Heated throw

I previously had several Sunbeam heated throws, biggest issues were they quit heating and because the heating coils weren't sewn it, it was like they were in a sack. Very hard to keep coils straight, they would bunch up at the ends or sides...hated that. The coils are sewn in place on the Beautyrest so there is no shifting. I ordered 2 of them and my husband and I both love them, very, very soft and oversized. I wanted to bu y two more but they are out of stock....ugh!

Loves this throw!

I bought this throw for my Dad because he gets cold easily. He turns it on before bed and it takes the chill off the sheets. It goes off by itself, so he doesn't have to worry about it staying on too long. It is pretty thin, but with the heating element, that doesn't really matter. For the price, it was a great buy. He really likes it.

Comfy and Warm

This blanket is amazing! It's very soft and heats up in a jiffy. The best part is it's size. It's much larger than any of the other throw blankets. It makes nap time on the couch heavenly in chilly Ohio. I definitely will be buying another! I just hope it last longer than the Sunbeam brand blankets I've purchased in the past that quit working after one winter. I've had this one for about 3 months, and so far, it's still working great. This is, by far, my new favorite blanket!

My Favorite Blanket!

I really adore this throw. I'm 5'4" and the size is so big, it can cover my entire frame. The fabric is so soft and not too thin, which I think is the best feature. The blue color is relaxing and the upper side almost shimmers, making it seem so luxurious.

The heating seems alright (I just go around wrapped in it without connecting the power), but it does seem to turn-off automatically, which is a bit of pity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really enjoying this heated blanket! It's incredibly soft and cozy, perfect for curling up on the couch. The color is a great neutral, which blends seamlessly with my home décor and matches everything perfectly. The size is just right—not too big, not too small—so it fits well on my bed or sofa.

One thing to note: there are a lot of specific instructions about how to position the remote and cord, which I appreciated knowing, but they did feel a bit excessive. As for the heat, I was expecting it to get a bit hotter on the highest setting, as it doesn't quite warm up as much as I thought it would.

I haven't washed it yet, so I can't speak to how it holds up in the laundry, but overall, I'm happy with the blanket for now!

I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and am very happy with it.. It's a little larger than some of the other throws which I really appreciate so my toes don't stick out the bottom. The Sherpa lining is very soft and masks the coils (heating wires) a bit so I really don't even notice the coils when I'm using this. The top side is velvety to the touch. I bought the light almond color, haven't seen any shedding so far. Would definitely purchase again. The only thing that would make it better would be an extra 2 feet of cord, but this is a standard length for all the throws I considered. I just wondered why I waited so long to get myself one!

Soft and warm

I use it under my flannel sheet. Before bed I turn it on to high. By the time I get in bed, it is toasty warm. Often eliminates the need to wear socks! I turn it off before going to sleep as a precaution. The only drawback is that the cord on the control is too short to reach my night stand and it dangles off the mattress. It is large enough to cover a queen size bed, thought the heating elements end about a foot from the edge of the throw, so it is best for one person in the bed.

Warm up your bed

I bought what I thought was a full/queen sized blanket.  It's about 6-7 inches short of covering my queen size bed.  It heats well on the higher settings but barely registers on the lower settings.  The material and weight are good.  It's a little large, but I've decided to use it as a throw when I watch TV.  Works great for that.

Love it why it worked. The item stopped working right at 90 days.
