I bought both the blue and navy. I use these as throws while reading or watching tv. I've got a heavier one for sleeping, but for relaxing the 12 lb really eases tension and helps to unwind! The cover is incredibly soft and lush on one side and cool and smooth on the other. For this price I would not have expected a cover to be included! It's a must as throwing a weighted blanket into a washer or dryer will be pretty hard on the appliance. Overall these are beautifully made. A nice big size too, would be great on a double/full bed, or even on a queen as they are not meant to hang off the edges at all (wasted weight plus gravity will pull it onto the floor at night). The only thing is that I wish the quilting on the actual blanket was a little smaller, the bead pockets are around 6x6” I believe, so there is a little shifting inside each pocket but it's still super comfortable and very well-made. Before each use I just give it a shake and it's all sorted. It's best to shake these in a sort of wave or rolling motion to redistribute the beads inside.
I'm considering grabbing a couple more at this price, for a heavier blanket you could always double up inside the cover :) and it would still be a great deal!

WORKS WONDERS

Even though it's 20lbs, for two people it feel a bit like a heavy comforter. My 12lbs twin used on my own feels heavier, so I would suggest going up in lbs for this make. Love the removable plush cover!

Arrived 4 days prior to delivery scheduled date. Was purchased as a gift and recipient is very pleased with the quality. Have not been used long enough to determine long term durability.

Jusr what i was looking for.

Received the blanket 2 days after placing my order (fantastic service Walmart) I've now used it for two weeks and find that the filling has moved away from the edges, and has now lumpyfied (sic) in the middle, where it gets enormously heavy. Don't really know how to fix it.
