I love Becel' limited edition sticks.I love the creamy, rich buttery taste at 1/2 the cost & none of the hassle of real butter . I make a lot of cakes & cookies for Christmas & Becel sticks are perfect, if the mood strikes me to bake I can take the Becel sticks right out of the fridge & they cream so easily. They are rich, smooth & blend so well.They leave my cakes super moist, tender & tasty. A must have for any baker or even for everyday use.

They are really handy for baking as they are mark in cups and tablespoops which is great for baking. My result turn out well every time.

Easy to use and good value

I'm impressed with the Becel butter alternatives.  With the rising cost of butter, these are a cheaper, healthier option.

A good alternative to butter

Premeasured sticks are great for baking.
It does not contain heavy yellow dyes to make the product look yellow.
Otherwise its standard Becel margarine.

Great for baking

Having family member that have food restictions can be very challenging. This margarine is very easy to measure and bakes up great for cookies, added favour to our mashed potatoes and helped season our vegetables.

Christmas dinner success!

The most disgusting taste. I had to throw out my meal due to the flavour of the “butter” on the vegetables. Only bought because it was cheap. Won't ever buy again.

Never again!

Many are looking for plant based, HEALTHY ALTERNATIVES, but look at the ingredients. 55% modified palm and palm kernel oil, 25% canola oil, that is 80% of bad oils, wrongly advertised as healthy oils (especially canola oil). There are so many good ingredients to create tasty, healthy butter. WAKE UP BECEL. We were fed long enough bad oils and modified corn products.

Deceiving. Is this a healthy alternative?

As a seasoned baker I was so excited to try this product. I made my no-fail lemon tea loaf replacing my usual margarine with a stick of Becel. This is a loaf that I make many times a month. I don't know how to explain how unpleasant the result was and I am curious to hear if anyone else has experienced the same. The texture was very coarse, not light and tender like my original recipe. The worst was the greasy exterior of the loaf. I pressed my fingers against the outside and my fingers were shiny with oil - and - the pan I used was parchment lined not sprayed. Sorry - but this did not work for me at all with a basic recipe that I can make with my eyes shut!
