Made to match existing cabinetry with exact color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These stools were easy to put together and they are very sturdy. However, the description says they are espresso brown and they are definitely not brown. They are black. They don't match our other stools, but it was too much of a hassle to take them apart and return them.

Nice stool for the price. A little difficult to get the wood screws in - we ended up using a drill. I would follow the weight limits on this. Would purchase again.

Very similar to stools at local furniture stores, but less than half the price.
So far happy with construction, but time will be the judge.

Versatile Island stools

These go together well and they are sturdy.  They have very nice grippers in the bottom that make them quiet for tile.  Dont know how durable the grippers are with kids.  One thing. These slightly curve up at the edges so they hurt under my thighs if my feet arent supported on the bars underneath.

A little painful

I liked everything about this until i got to the last step of directions. The last screws didn't screw into anything, I had to end up using wood screws of my own cause the ones included broke and are very cheap.  It all worked out in the end...we'll see how long these last.

nice for the price

Though this stool was exactly what I was looking for, putting it together was not. 
Aside from the screws that attached to the stool top easily with the supplied wrench,
the wood screws that were used to attach the legs were difficult to install, stripped easily
because they were too soft, and really required an electric drill to make starter holes first.
There was no instruction as to how they were to be attached and were impossible to put in
by hand without a power tool.
