The 3-piece crib bedding set includes one quilt, one fitted crib sheet and one crib skirt. There are metallic embroidered crowns on the octopus and jellyfish. This was purchased for my new granddaughter after searching and searching for weeks. It was difficult to find an ocean theme for a little girl. I ordered immediately and couldn't wait for it to come in. The order arrived in a timely manner. I opened the box and was blown away. The quality was as promised, the colors were amazing, and it was even cuter than in the picture.  I am more than pleased.  I would recommend this company to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market for a new bedding set for the little one I am expecting to arrive soon and immediately fell in love with this design when I saw it! I have used and loved lambs and ivy and will always gravitate towards their products simply because they have beautiful designs and are high quality.  

This set really has everything you'll need for the new bundle of joy in your life. I was incredibly surprised to see what a great job they had done packing the bedding set in such a compact manner. It's very light and travel friendly size in case you need to transport it for a gift or need to ship it somewhere. Or when you're ready to store it altogether. 

The DESIGN: I have to say I love how the colors are very pastel and are not vibrant enough to be an eye sore. You have an intricate balance of corals with whites, greys, light blue, and mild yellow /gold elements throughout the bedding set. The set is perfect if you're a minimalist and is also great for the little ones since it does offer some color variation. There are elements of embroidery throughout the quilt - the crown on the adorable octopus' head - and that really adds very nice accent effects to the set. This features an underwater theme (ocean mist collection) and every character Is displayed beautifully. 

My 21 month old baby girl loves seeing this set and always hugs the octopus close to her face every time she walks by her sisters bed. 

FABRIC: The fabric used is very soft to the touch. It's a combination of polyester and cotton - the front and back being polyester and some elements being 100% cotton. I do wish that baby products would all be made with cotton but the upside of the polyester fabric is that they do better with washing and drying than cottons. My cotton bedding sets often shrink but this I've already washed twice, does not shrink or deform in any way. I actually do love how the crib skirt was polyester as well since that piece is mostly for aesthetics but I would have loved to have the fitted sheet to at least be cotton. 

SIZE: the size is perfect for me because we tend to have taller babies who outgrow most of their baby products. The fitted sheet perfectly into their infant/toddler dual mattresses and the crib skirt was once again a standard size. The comforter I found to be larger than most baby” comforters thankfully and as it stands with my 99th percentile toddler, it still covers her just fine. She's now 21 months but I anticipate being able to use this for aBout a year more. 

The quilt/ comforter measurements are roughly 34”x 43” whereas my other crib sets measure at least a few inches less. This makes a huge difference because my older one outgrew her other comforters before she became one but I anticipate this being used for much longer. 

The crib skirt is the perfect length and does cover the bottom empty portion of the bed without having to be completely dragged on the floor - and this is with the crib's lowest setting. If you find that you want less fabric on the floor, you can easily tuck away more fabric from all sides under the mattress and voila! 

EASY TO WASH: the best part about the fabric is that it is very easy to wash without shrinking or deforming. I've already washed the set twice and there have been no sign of shirking. The “static shield” setting and the “wrinkle away” settings are perfectly fine for controlling wrinkles after dryer sessions making it a super low maintenance set for the parents. I never had to iron them. 

BATTING; in case you're wondering the batting is also polyester. Again while I would have loved to have cotton or bamboo batting, the upside of polyester is that the quilt itself would not shrink between the washes. 

Overall impressions: the designs are very cute and pleasant to the eye. I love the compactness of the package and love the oversized quilt it comes with. I also appreciate that neither the fitted sheet, the skirt, nor the quilt shrunk or stayed wrinkled. I definitely see myself buying additional sets as gifts because unlike my other sets, this came in an amazing sized packaging perfect for gifting.
