The picture is for a girl but the description reads boy. Fortunately for me, this kit was for a girl, which is what I needed. All the supplies were included. I am an older woman so the design chart is too small for me to read comfortably. My home printer has an enlargement feature so I enlarged the chart and am one my way. I haven't finished this project yet but I think I will be very happy with the finished product.

Picture & Description don't match

The only problem I see is the squares on the instructions are small and so it is not easy to see.

baby cr.stitch

I would gladly have given this five stars, if but for one thing, and if you are an experienced stitcher, that one thing won't matter much at all. The design is beautiful, the sentiment is precious, and it is EXACTLY what we want for our baby girl on the way. The blending of shades and colors creates a beautiful effect, and everything I needed was included in the kit, including generous portions of thread. I ended up only using half of what was supplied...albeit I am a very conservative stitcher. The only flaw I found was in the instructions themselves. The pattern is printed VERY small...so small that if a back stitch line goes across a square, it is difficult to see what symbol is behind the line. The thread is presorted, but not labeled, so it takes some prep to determine and label the thread colors, and the symbols are not always easy to distinguish (a black triangle and a black offset triangle, for example). However, I understand that some of these choices cut down on the cost to produce the kits, and I appreciate the lower price of this kit. Overall, I LOVE this design, and am thrilled to have it for our daughter. I would recommend it for any intermediate or above stitcher with a need for a baby girl/boy birth announcement.

Absolutely beautiful, love it!
