This concealer accommodated the audio, vga and hdmi cables from computers to monitors/tvs. I used the included double-sided tape in small areas at each end, because I couldn't get the last couple of inches to lie exactly flat. I painted the concealer to match my carpet. Very happy with the result. Safety enhanced, and I don't have to look at the cables.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave a high rating because it is a product that is convenient and it is not stocked locally in the hardware stores near where I live.

Works great. As some have suggested, I placed the coiled loop in a pot of warm/hot water for about 15 minutes; I then laid out with weights on top to get the curling out. The only curling that still occurs slightly is at the very tips.

No more tripping over cords

Cable holder lies flat after a few hot days to soften the plastic. After that, it just disappears against the color of concrete where I'm using it. I got a cord to match at Walmart, so the whole power issue was solved in a color coordinated way.
I don't expect the double-sided tape to hold even tho I thoroughly cleaned the concrete surface.
This is not really an outdoor product. But it serves my limited use area purpose well.

It works, great price

decided to nuke mine in the microwave as opposed to heating it up in water. Probably 3 mins on high. Was doing it 30 secs at a time. That took care of the bend problem.

does what its intended to do

Because it's rolled up, it will take some effort to get it to lay flat. I've read others who stated they soaked it in hot water, used a hair dryer, etc. Whatever you choose is up to you, but once that's done, it seems to suit the purpose.

Seems to work fine after you get it "straightened"

This curls up and the cords fall out of the bottom. I used duct tape to keep the cords in, but they are still falling out. I have three cords stuffed in there so that might be part of the problem. I also have a rug on top to keep it from curling but it is not the best look. I'm hoping with time it will lay flat and I can find better tape to keep the cords in. It works, it is just not ideal.

tripping hazard

The cord from my Nordictrack treadmill is apparently too thick as the cord concealer will not lay flat. Despite placing 50 lb. salt bags on the cord for over a week, the edges curled up within a day or two after removing the bags. The product seems to be well made just does not lay flat with a thicker cord running through it. I would recommend the product if you are hiding a thinner cord.

Won't flatten out

I was expecting it to be rubber made and flexible. But it was a hard plastic kind of material which has to be stick with a double sided tape permanently. So once you put in a wire and stick it, you cant pull out or put more wires inside it without breaking the sticky tape. Returned.

Stiff plastic

Belkin cord concealer is hard to work with - hard plastic material has memory and difficult to uncoil and use. Required soaking in a tub w/ hot water to straighten material but material still was hard to close on bottom area that adheres to floor. Tape supplied was much less than needed to secure to the floor - had to go out and buy 2 sided carpet tape to finish the job of securing to tile floor. Cord was still not totally flat to floor. Buy another competing similar product.
