[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Belkin for 20 years and it continues to live up to its name %26 reputation for quality. This particular one is a very straight forward surge surpressor. It protects everything from a surge and provides 6 3-prong outlets. Consistently delivers power, and protects anything connected to it in the event of an electrical surge or weather mishap. We had this exact strip and a severe thunderstorm caused a lightning strike that blew out the outlets in the dining room. The surge surpressor was no longer working, and there was an electrical smell (very faint) but NOTHING else. NOTHING happened to any of our devices-TV, laptop, phones, etc...all were fine when plugged into a new one! I highly recommend Belkin. If you need something more heavy duty, their metal surpressors are great %26 include USB ports as well.

Nice Power Strip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to add some plugs and this power bar works great. It can handle surge up to 300 joules.  This doesn't take up too much room so it fit just right where we needed to place it.  I would recommend this power bar.

Great deal

I purchased this type of strip although the model # is F5C050 and not this model number featured, about ten tears ago. It has been through brown outs and power outages and still kept performing. As of 7:20PM on August 7th, 2016, it protected my equipment for the last time when a huge power surge fried the strip. The original manufacturing date on the F5C050 surge protector was 07-2001. I definitely would recommend this product for those who are just looking for a surge protection for their electronics.
