I bought this about one month ago.  I am very pleased with the way the app works.  My only wish is that the app would boot up a little faster to use the on/off app switch.

I have a family of WeMos and when I say Alexa, "Turn All On", it happens! It's great. Also, WeMo makes it easy to set a schedule, so all lights go out at night, whether I'm still awake to see it or not. :)

Fantastic devices to simplify home automation.

I received a Wemo Mini Smart Plug as a gift. It was easy to set up with the app that I downloaded.  I immediately wished I had more to use around the house. I anticipate being able to turn lights on and off with my phone when on vacation, not having to crawl over gifts to plug in the Christmas Tree Lights, and turn on Christmas village lights that are hard to reach. I bought two more.

Wemo Mini Smart Plug

I initially purchased one smart plug, and liked it so much I bought 2 more.  The process of setting it up on the network is the easiest and best I have experienced, and once setup it works flawlessly, including with an Amazon Echo Dot.

Easier to set up than competitive products

These are so much better than mechanical timers. You no longer have to reset if power goes out or change to DST. You can create your own rules that are more precise than the old mechanical ones. Highly recommend!

Time Saver

These WEMO plugs are super when outlets for holiday decorations are behind furniture. You just need to move furniture to install/remove a plug; turning it on is easy and doesn't require bending down. It's even easier when programed for time-of-day use.

Perfect for holiday decorations

I experienced a very steep learning curve trying to: first--get the device to recognize my home network; second--trying to program multiple time periods on it. My thoughts are, for a progarmable light switch, the process should be self evident and obvious to the degree that no auxilliary instruction is necessary.

Needs refinement.

I wanted to get the HomeKit version of these Wemo Minos, but was sent the non-HomeKit (older?) version instead. Quite frustrating.

Double-check you have the version you want

It usually works great, I used this for lights. It worked fine for most lights but my wife  used on a string of Christmas lights and it failed when we attempted to turn on the lights.  That was when I was trying to show my wife how cool it was to use your device. 
The Christmas lights were LED and low current I wondered if you had had this problem before.

I was able to connect and use for a few days. After a few days I cannot login to the app. I have deleted and reinstall the app. It sends a authentication email each time install and reinstall.
