I restore and collect old bicycles. l bought this Bell Cocoon 300 Child Carrier so my three-year-old grand-daughter could ride with her mom. I followed the instructions and, with minor adjustments, mounted it on my daughter's vintage (circa 1963) Roadmaster "Westpoint" that I restored some time ago (see attached pictures). Perfect for my 15 month old boy

Actually enjoy it. Can have my little one in the back and ride out. Secure and yet not heavy. Installing it was fairly easy. And been riding it with it for the past month and no complains.

He had to custom make the brackets. There’s are flimsy and short. Only easy because my husband is a fabricator.
Or other than that the rest is great 
That’s been the downfall. Even even when our kids were little 30 years ago. We had the same issue. 
Otherwise, the kids sit way too close to the writer. And definitely has no. 
So we customize the brackets

This seat didn’t fit my bike with the original piece that connects to my seat. It was too short causing my seat to rest on top of my baby’s legs. We took the piece off that connects to the underside of my seat and put a new longer piece. It pushed the seat back farther and now it isn’t anywhere near my baby’s legs. This is a very sturdy, comfortable and nice looking seat and my baby loves it.

Everything about the seat is great. The assembly was easy although I did use a video on youtube which made it super manageable. Only issue I really have is that my kid sits really close to me although I have it as far out as they can be so my butt is hitting up against their knees when I sit. Occasionally my heel will clip the seat's foot rest when I'm pedaling as well. This may just be an issue with my bike though.

Worth the value, minor space issues

This was for our daughter. Delivered fast and damage free. 

However I must admit the installation was not that easy. (I put it on the back of an huffy 26” ladies bike) 

Eventually our daughter enjoys a smooth ride w/her mummy. First rides she was scared but then she gets used to it

Good but a bit hard to install

Didn't fit very nicely on my 29" hardtail MTB. The linkages need to be a bit longer for it to fit better on my bike, but im also a tller guy riding a larger bike. I did get it on my bike, but my booty is only 5" away from my poor baby.

They need to use a higher grade bolt for the seat tightening/linkage mount. My M6 bolt stripped very easily using just a small 1/4" ratchet. I had to buy a new one at the hardware store.

I do like the price point for the design, though. I couldn't find another seat that is more enclosed like this one.

Cheap, but barely fits 29" MTB and weak bolt

Built well, actually hold the maximum weight, it just didn’t fit right on my bike even after putting it on the furthest possible point on the extender. Was such an uncomfortable ride for my daughter and I. Just fyi my daughter is 2 years old and 32lbs she had no leg room and I couldn’t sit comfortably because if I did  try I’d be sitting on her knees.

Didn’t work well for my bike.
