Round Oak wood toilet seat

Very nice color, excellent quality, very easy installation.  Would buy again.

Great choice

I was quite disappointed in this.  Yes, it seems sturdy enough, but the hinges look shiny and cheap.  More important, it appears to be some sort of pressed-wood material covered with a fake-looking veneer.  It's sharp-edged and feels artificial.  It replaced a genuine old-fashioned oak seat, and in both looks and texture it's the difference between, say, an old real wooden desktop and a formica breakfast table.

This seat replaced an identical seat. The hinges corroded and broke on original identical seat.

Not soft close as stated in description

I thought I was ordering wood.
"Specifications - Features WOOD"
I didn't know it was laminated until it was received.
Replaced previous on because lamination was peeling off.

incomplete description

I wouldn't have purchased the seat if I had realized it was from China and wasn't really made of oak.  It is veneer.

descriptions contradict. Top description says NOT slow lose, lower down on page, description say it IS soft close.  It's not!

bad description

2 of theses in a row had uneven staining giving the product a disgusting look.
