Cherry ice cream with cherries and fudge flakes. It’s our tribute to legendary guitarist Jerry Garcia fans everywhere, and it all started with a piece of fan mail. You see, back in the day, before smartphones and social media, our fans spoke to us via handwritten notes pinned to the bulletin boards at our Scoop Shops. It was sometime in 1986 when one such fan was persistent enough to mail a postcard to our main office in Burlington, Vermont. Ice cream meets great guitar solos? It was genius, and Ben immediately began creating the iconic concoction. Cherry Garcia debuted in 1987 and quickly became one of our top three most popular flavours. In fact, the first eight pints went straight to Mr. Garcia himself and were met with two thumbs up! As for the fan who sent in the anonymous postcard? Our sleuths finally found her and thanked her with a trip to Vermont and a year’s supply of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. It’s been a long, strange trip ever since, but what remains is Ben & Jerry's commitment to producing the best responsible ice cream. Like all of our flavours, Cherry Garcia is made with 1% Canadian milk, free run eggs, Non-GMO, and Fairtrade certified cocoa and vanilla. The milk and cream is kosher-certified and comes from Canadian cows. Responsibly sourced packaging gets the goodness from our factory to your freezer.

I tried ben and jerry's cherry garcia ice cream and it was really tasty and delicious. It is a perfect snack for peak summers. Not only it tasted great but the ingredients are also fair traded which was also nice to know. Overall I would recommend this ice cream.

Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia is a creamy smooth cherry-based ice cream with well combination of dark chocolate fudge flakes and sweet and tangy plumb cherry chunks. The sweetness of cherry and bitterness of dark chocolate makes it an iconic and delicious flavor. The brand identity for using certified fairtrade cocoa, sugar and vanilla is always a big factor to stay to loyal to it for me.

Perfect Combination Of Sweetness And Bitterness

Good taste, quality and good price. It's a non diary frozen dessert as mentioned on the container. My child and spouse love it. Hard to choose from different flavour and can't wait to try more. Definitely worth purchasing. Decent mount of fudge and cherry.

Smooth and Creamy, delicious cherries….myself and my grandkids thoroughly enjoyed it. My daughter had some and was raving about how good it was and she doesn't usually eat ice cream, that makes me know I can purchase it again as everyone will enjoy it!

I love Ben and Jerry ice cream. I love cherries! Great product but I would lighten up the sugar. The sweetness for me is just enough to say I'm satisfied but don't want this for a while. Similarly with other B and J formulas the sweetness is a bit over the top for someone who's trying to watch their waist line

While the ice-cream taste was ok, the cherries used in the ice-cream were stale and completely spoiled the taste of ice-cream. Not recat all just due to the taste of cherries.
