We have owned this for 15 years but decided to get another one as the blades are dulling. We tried a couple of other brands; waste of money. We ended up donating them to a thrift store. Should have just re-purchased this same product because it's far superior. It's sturdy, easy to clean, has lots of adjustability, sharp but still safe because of the guard.

An amazing product for an amazing price

The one purchased from Walmart was a gift. I have one myself so I know it is a great product, great for getting things thinly sliced for salads and pickling. New users beware- USE THE GUARD! It is such an easy product to use until you nick yourself. I've had many close calls.

However, from Walmart's end, speedy delivery and boxed item looks good!

Japanese Mandolin

This is what I have been looking for and cheaper than the other websites. I love it.

Excellent quality

Perhaps I was sent a defective or used item, but the slicer I received wouldn't cut anything.  I could touch the blade and it definitely wasn't sharp.

Blade was dull.
