Smell

5 STARS to the seller in getting the item out to me, but it smells like I've hung around a campfire too long. 
It smells like dark burnt embers, rather like burnt pencils in the opening, as the opening is horrible for the first 15 minutes.. and doesn't improve much all the way into the dry down. I've tried it about 4 different times hoping it would grow on me but it doesn't. 
Definitely a fall or winter scent. I love many fragrances and I have a deep collection, even in noir, absolu and oud scents but this one was a blind buy mistake for me. Bentley Intense, Bentley Black, and Bentley Silverlake are much more enjoyable.

Give it few days after you spray for the first time. Initially I just thought it is Incense and some spice. After a week i can detect most of the notes and I can say its a classy fragrance for mature noses.

A fantastic men cologne

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] good masculine scent. New bottle was 2 hours of good projection, skin scent at 4 hours. I prefer intense or silverlake in the Bentley line.

The cologne came in early wich was good. So no complaints about delivery.

The scent tho… it was a kind buy for me cuz it was long lasting “niche” scent cologne. This really is only for certain people, not everyone's gonna like it. Would i recommend? Maybe, th scent isn't for everybody, best I can describe is as pencil shavings and alcohol but not as harsh and for subtle. Some my friends didn't really like it. For performance, air lasted pretty long 6-8 hours.
