I've used several different types of rods over the years but the Cherrywood's are by far my favorite. I think I own every one except an ultra light. They are light, durable and Great quality. I caught a 5lb bass on a medium light cherry wood and it held up fantastic. I don't think I'll ever use a different rod again.

Bought 2 rods a year apart. First was Med. second was Med. light. Both have performed flawlessly. Absolutely nave had zero issues with them. I fish twice a week and use them every time out. Sorry others have had bad luck. I would buy again if I need a rod.

Great rods

A couple weeks ago I broke my rod trying to get a lure out of a tree limb. My rod was graphite and expensive. I accidentally broke it at the joint. I bought a cherrywood to replace my broken rod. yesterday while tossing a light  rapala crank bait, the hook hit my rod during a cast, and I hooked a small bass on that cast. When I struck the bass, my rod broke where the lure hit it. Worst luck ever!!

Light, beautiful and sensitive rod

I use this 6' model with a calcutta 50 for redfishing when I have to fish the marsh banks tight. Thats right; i flip it over and put a baitcast reel on it. The action is awesome! These are the only rods I have used that hold up against the pounding of 10lb reds and the harsh environment. I would recommend this rod to anyone.

Redfishing

I've had my cherrywood for quite a few years. First year 3 inches broke off the tip. Reattached the top guide and it has been one of the best poles I've owned. It has Done well over the years.

Good rod.

Bought it a couple a months ago, the rod felt good and light. The upper half broke.

I would be nice if Berkley could replace the upper half of the pole.

Nice shiny cherry, light and nice for spinning

Bought this about a month ago for pan fish well sadly it broke right at the second ring just like everyone had said. Haven't decided yet to buy another one or not? Right now its my 5' pan fish rod!! Lol

Nice look and feel BUT Not much use on this rod before the upper section shattered.

Disappointed

I bought the 5'6” 2 piece and was using it for smallmouth after only a couple trips and only 3 fish landed the top piece broke. Definitely didn't expect that.
