Three of us were fishing. I was the only the only one using Gulp. I caught about three or four fish to their one. Both of the other guys switched to Gulp instead of their live bait.

Use the Maggots on a tungsten bead head lure similar to a trout fishing nymph in a size 8 3xl hook.  Thread the maggot onto the hooks curve to resemble a shrimp like shape.  They can't resist it!!!!!!

Bluegills love them

Bought this a few weeks ago (white/cream color) at walmart for laughs, as they were out of live bait and I wanted to go crappie fishing, I also considered the fact that they may be a great substitute for using live bait while ice fishing. I have taken them out every time I've gone fishing this fall and the fish absolutely can't get enough of them, they stay on the hook better than live bait, they are cheaper, and the container has so many it's insane! While panfishing I even caught a 32 pound channel catfish in Indiana, only 5 pounds off the state record! These things are the next best thing. Only complaint is the smell, it stains your clothes and takes a few washing to get out, but if that is part of catching the fish, I'll take it.

Absolutely slaughters panfish and catfish!

Positively, this is quite a frustrating product... let me explain. How many times
have I approach a water plan with all possible techniques and knowledge without any
kind of response, then switched to the little Gulp Maggot pot as a last resort and...
immediately got a bite. Being close in size and shape to a meaty delicious little
worm and soaking in a unique attracting scent recipe, these baits are often better
than live baits. After some time in the water, get it back in the pot for it to soak
again in the scent. Biodegradable, available in varied colors. The little jar is easy
to store in the gear box or even in your jacket! There is no way I would get out
there without it.

They must have called it the day saver bait

I have to tell you that I have not caught so many fish as I did today. I figured that I'd throw a line in and wait eons to get a bite..NOPE! Fish after fish it was keeping me away from my beer that's how many fish I was getting. This ain't no joke! And you dont have to murder anything to use bait. 20 stars! Thank you!

Another great Berkley product.

We used the product today for the first time and were pleased.  I caught a bluegill and a 3 lb channel cat.  Because of mobility issues we were not in a good spot at the pond.  My wife and son both had many bites.   I am looking forward to trying more of the gulp products.
