[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm honestly impressed by this Bernzomatic Utility Torch! It's so powerful, and easy to use and feels much more sturdy and high quality than I expected. The flame is strong and adjustable, which makes it perfect for different tasks. I also love that it's lightweight and comfortable to handle without feeling cheap or flimsy. This is definitely one of those tools you dont realize you need until you have it and then you wonder how you lived without it before!

Powerful and Reliable

Worthington Industries, Inc.

I like it. this replaced an older push button Bernzomatic that stopped having a hot flame. Image after 30 or more years and a couple of years stored in a toolbox it would not work right.
This new did what I wanted, and I'm happy.

It works great

walmart.com

It's exactly what I needed for the project I was working on I can honestly say it was easily operational %26 ease of use was outstanding the flame wasn't exactly what I was wanting but it worked out perfectly %26 it's reliability was well worth the price %26 I highly recommend it to anyone needing something like this as it has many uses Thank You

Torch tip for household projects

I love it. This makes about a half dozen torch tops I've bought. I do wish they were not so expensive. But they last a long long time and mine has been kicked or knocked over while attached to a gas tank and there have never been any problems or leaks. You can take it off of a tank and use it on another and then put it back onto the same tank no problems. The push button ignition is the real selling point of the top. So far every one I've used has never run out of the spark that lites the gas. I will buy more.

I use mine for recreational purposes. The ignighter stopped creating a flame on it's own, so i bought this to replace the broken one. But did you know you can still get it to light without buying a new one? Using a lighter you can still get a flame! But this is great to have in case you dont have a lighter!!!!

Nice replacement

Love this torch head, works great! This is the second I've purchased for the house, we use it for art projects and lighting fireplaces and burn barrels

This is actually my second Bernzomatic FireStarter. I kept getting tired of running out to the shop to retrieve this tool so I bought another tool to keep in the house by my pellet stove. The newly purchased torch is the Lite version of my original. But works the same and seems to have the same flame and ease of use. I'll post a picture of both side by side. The new Bernzomatic FireStarter is on the right a more compact design, with same flase as my old unit on the left.

Happy with my purchase of Bernzomatic FireStarter.

So far so good igniter is still working. Usually it breaks after a month but this one must be a special one still works great.

I purchased two of these. One for my son and one for me. Unfortunately it extinguishes as soon as I point it at something on an angle and especially upside down. Most frustrating and very disappointing. In fact useless. Surprised that a solid company like Benzomatic produces such a poorly designed product that cannot perform as intended.

Do not buy this Benzomatic product

absolute garbage. had it a week and I'm already using a lighter to light it. starter ignites and then goes out no matter how high or low you adjust it (not that you should have to do that anyway. it should just light when you click the button high flame or low flame , if it wasn't a grabage product )

don't waste your money

Bernzomatic Outdoor Utility Torch centered front-facing view of a handheld torch with adjustable webbed flame nozzle, trigger-start ignition and stainless steel burn tube; black textured handle shown upright on a plain background; suitable for lighting grills, smokers and light soldering, and as a portable heat source for thawing frozen locks.
