First off box came damaged velvet came somewhat dirty . The wood to the trundles was cracked a bit. I couldn't repackage the item for a return because it was too difficult. I said I'll try washing the fabric and assembling the bed. Took over two hours to assemble . The bed was finally assembled and looked ok until i put a mattress on top of the bed which blocked half of the back of the head board (back of trundle)  because it was 12 inches I went and got a 9 inch mattress and it is still covering a large amount of  the back. Now I need to go and purchase a 5/6 inch mattress so the bed will look decent . This whole thing is a major hassle. I didn't sign up for a bed that takes a 5 inch mattress . Unusually it should show that in the description which it doesn't. Now I am stuck I will call customer service to see how they can help me . I hope they can make this right and I can remove this rating
