After we were all finished assembling the furniture we felt good about our purchase. We actually purchased the whole arrangement. The L, with two file cabinets, the hutch, a bookshelf and , the lateral file. It did take some time to assemble, but the engineering and the quality of the pieces of furniture and parts used for the assembly made it go smoothly. The location of wholes for options was very nicely done. Being able to adjust the drawer faces after the assembly was complete was a real plus. We had our doubts about press board furniture but needed to assemble the furniture in the room it would be used in. Bestar might consider how the hutch and bookshelf attach.

Very Nice

So far I am very pleased with this bookcase. It seems to be very sturdy and has a nice finish. It was a little unusual having to assemble the two main parts in the way that the directions indicated, but it did work (just be careful lining them up before you attach them together).

This is a good and big bookshelf but came little chipped.  The external box was intact but inside packaging was minimal that could have caused the chips.  It was too much of a hassle to put everything back to return it to Sams.  

The assembly instructions are OK but some wooden pieces came without being numbered - so had to use the best judgement and do some trial and error. 

Other than those disappointments - the bookshelf is well built, heavy and serves its purpose.

Good bookshelf but came little chipped

I bought 3 of these bookcase. I waited about 20 days and today they finally arrived. I opened one and tried to assemble it, then I found out that one hole was drilled at a wrong place, as you can see from the picture. The two parts should have the screws at the same position, but one is clearly at the wrong position. I double checked. I didn't have time to open the other two today, hopefully they are OK.  These bookcases are extremely heavy, don't know how to return it.
