In the beginning, Jimmy is a struggling public defender with a knack for bending the rules. He tries to make a name for himself in the legal world while dealing with his complicated relationship with his older brother Chuck, a respected lawyer suffering from mental illness. As the series progresses, Jimmy gradually succumbs to the darker side of the law.
