I ordered the Better Chef 12 Cup White Coffeemaker as a birthday present for my wife, Deb.  I also ordered a white can opener, a white toaster and a white slicer that I will review later...in a positive manner also.  The coffee maker has been used since day one and we have not had any of the problems that I found in the thousand of reviews I read. Ha!  There's not much to it....fill the filter with coffee, fill with water and plug in.  Coffee came out without any unusual flavors or without any unusual noises.  I would recommend it....even if it's not a well-known brand.  And, like they always say, "for the price, it was a good buy".

This coffeemaker makes a satisfying coffee, the machine itself is smaller and kind of cute, less expensive and much better than my Black and Decker.  One feature I like less is the filter basket that must slide off-out and which I am still struggling to slide back into such a too-small hole.

This is the second time I have purchased this coffeemaker.  I only use it a couple of times a week as I am not a coffee drinker.  After a year and a half, the element completely burned up rendering it useless.  As I like the color I have once again purchased it.  If the same thing happens I will not do so again.
