[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Again, sometimes it's just hard to find percale sheets.  Everyone wants fancy sheets or sateen sheets (yuck) and they're always concerned with thread count.  I grew up with percale sheets and they are the best, especially as far as weight and durability

Color is as expected %26 no chemical smell. 
They are far from soft though. Washed before putting on bed and they are crispy, no softness to them whatsoever and very wrinkly even straight out of the dryer.

This is my second purchase of this item. I like sheet set quite a bit. My only quibble is the wrinkles!!! These sheets wrinkle something awful.

Nice fitted sheet that stays put. Fabric is not as soft as I expected and wrinkles badly.

These sheets were not as soft as I hoped they would be. I guess I should ave realized when it sad “crisp” they wouldn't be soft. I won't buy them again.

I have been using this brand of sheets for years because I always swore they were the best. I just ordered a new set and they have definitely changed it. It felt very scratchy and not that silky soft feeling they used to have. I'm so upset. I don't even know which ones to purchase now, I don't know why companies feel the need to change something when it was already good. These are not the soft sheets they used to have. Very disappointed!

RETURNING

The entire sheet set shrunk after one wash…instructions were followed. Better Homes and Gardens brand is NOTHING like it used to be…TRAGIC!!!

I had purchased a printed set in the store.  I wanted a solid set and purchased online same set but solid.  NOT  soft at all.  Hate them.

I regret purchasing these sheets. They are the most scratchy/itchy material ever! I ended up with a rash on parts of my body and couldn't sleep with this on my skin. Don't waste your time purchasing.
