I bought this for a dinner tray.  I don't have a dining room, so I eat my meals while sitting on the couch.  I like a proper meal, and this tray is a good size to hold an 8" dinner plate, a vegetable bowl, dessert cup, and utensils.  The size and weight of this tray allows it stability on my lap.  The raised edge helps contain whatever is sitting on it.  The handles being on the side instead of the top makes storage easier.  This is a great for everything type of tray and the quality is excellent, especially for the reasonable price.

The one is very beautiful. It is a heavy tray and the handles certainly are sturdy. The only complaint I have is that a kind of rocks like the bottom is bowed but it doesn't appear to be bowed. but the wood is great and beautiful

They say this is a wooden tray, but it has a thick plastic finish on it. That should make it more durable, I guess, but it doesn't have the feel I expected. It's reasonably attractive.

I was surprised that it didn't have any kind of packaging around it. Definitely you're going to want to wash it when you get it.

It's large enough for a turkey or some other large piece of meat.

Attractive, plasticky feel

I bought this to present food at Christmas. It's a beautiful tray and appears well-made but after just one washing (no soaking), the color has already faded quite a bit, especially on the edges. Hopefully some mineral oil will make it rich-colored again, but we will see. If you buy it, you might as well get some oil too.

The product is very nice however, Walmart placed a sticker on the board that has been incredibly hard to get off and has left a residue on the top of the board. Really disappointed in the placement good thing I didn't send it straight to the recipient. Would have given 5 if not for this inconvenience.

I had my hopes high for this platter. I was gonna get one for our boys but bought one to see how nice it is and I was let down. The delivery person left the platter upside down on my brick step. It wasn't in a box or wrapped. The wood glue wasn't done right and shows on the ends. Some of the glue managed to get the topside of the platter, as well. Had it been done properly it would make an awesome gift. But I'm too embarrassed to give this to anyone and we definitely don't want it. What a waste!

The diameter of drilled holes which support the handles on both sides are not evenly placed between the top and bottom.   
Poor workmanship, noticeably uneven.

Defective - Handles

I loved this tray so much and found one with the most beautiful wood grain and color. However, the handles are both crooked and don't come out to fix them myself. I ordered 5 more trays to try and find one I liked with straight handles but there was always a wonky handle on each one. Could have been great but missed the mark.

This is the 2nd board I have ordered and they all have come cracked. I have tried to purchase in store and they are also cracked. The crack seems to start at the handle and go down the board.

Love the board but cheaply made
