As I pulled it out of the box I was seriously shocked how thick it is.  I wasn't expecting something this good.  Excellent quality but I would never put any rug in any washing machine.  The action of the wash cycle is too tough on how rugs are made.  I hang my rugs up and wash by spray hose, car wash or on my gate. Rugs also can contain too much sand or dirt to clog washing machine drain lines and filters.  An example buy if you follow that rule.  It takes a long time to clean out a washing machine.  Been there, done that.

I bought this Better Homes %26 Gardens rug in almond biscuit color and was pleasantly surprised with how beautifully it goes with  the floor in my apartment.  The color blends well, doesn’t show dirt like darker colors do, and the cotton rug hangs nicely over the side of the tub so it is out of the way and can dry when I’m not taking a shower leaving room for my walker to turn around and giving it a nice place to dry in case it gets wet. 

The size is easy to carry and shake out once a week And, surprisingly, it is heavy enough it doesn’t slip on vinyl floors the way some rubber-backed rugs do, making it safer with less risk of falling. 

It is washable and reversible and for anybody who likes to change the color of their decor once in a while, this rug by Better Homes %26 Gardens is an excellent value. I will continue to buy it!

Great Over-the Tub rug!

Washed the rug and was pleasantly surprised how well it felt under my feet. This mat was for my shower. I bought a second mat to go in front of the bath vanity sink.

I did a review on the same product in a different color.  So, you can look for that there.  A little smaller than I would prefer for a bath mat, but it is soft, washable, and a great neutral color.

I did not notice when I ordered this on line that it is reversible till I got it yesterday.  Pretty cool that you have two very different textures and styles to choose from.  The quality is excellent for the price.  Nice and full and thick and substanial.  I personally am using this for my pet rabbit to lay on under her favorite chair so not sure about it in the bathroom but I would think it would be great for that since it is thick.  Perfect size and very happy with the quality.

I purchased the rug to put on my carpet leading into the bedroom.  It stays in place.  Perfect for keeping the carpet clean  in a high traffic area.

RUG COLOR WAS GOOD BUT THEY DO NOT STAY IN PLACE SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT RUGS WITH RUBBER BACKING ON THE.

This isn’t what I had in mind.  In person, the material looks like it won’t hold up very well if it’s washed often so I most likely will be returning it.
