This night stand is absolutely beautiful. I’m so happy that I bought this. It adds such a beautiful finishing piece to my bedroom. Took me a hot minute to figure out how to assemble, I have never used cam locks. But after several YouTube videos I figured it out then assembly was a breeze.

The main thing to know before ordering is that this runs large. I bought two and ended up returning one because my bedroom simply could not fit them on both sides. I liked it enough that I am happy making do with just the one. Measure carefully. Assembly is involved but not difficult. The one tricky part is lining up the curved pieces, especially at the top. Mine ended up slightly off and if you look closely you can see it, though from a normal distance in the room it reads fine. Everything else is what I have come to expect from Better Homes and Gardens. The wood is thick and substantial, the piece is sturdy, and the light honey color matches the listing photos accurately. Their furniture quality at this price point is hard to beat.

Bigger than expected, great quality

So I can’t really review the assembly process because my boyfriend did it for me, but this is a perfect nightstand. I bought it to match my desk (also from the Better Homes %26 Garden line) and they go together so well. Nightstands with the built-in phone charging feature that I was looking at before purchasing this one were almost double this price, so it’s a great value.

Perfect match

I absolutely love these nightstands! Before purchasing, I had had my eye on these for a few months, and I am so happy that I finally decided to purchase them! They are the perfect addition to my bedroom, have an extremely spacious drawer, and I love the outlet on the back for plugging in my bedside table lamps and phone charger. If you are deciding whether to purchase these, I would 100% recommend!!!

100% Recommend!

The nightstands are made of good quality compressed wood, excellent assembly instructions and outstanding details. However I spent 2 hours assembling EACH nightstand. Had I known how much time I ended up spending, I would have picked a partly assembled nightstand. That's my 2 cents worth.

The night table is sturdy and really nice. Looks great in my kid’s bedroom. Subtracting a star because it was somewhat complicated & tedious to build. I feel like at the price we paid, it should have come semi-installed. Otherwise really happy with the final product. I will say the drawers could be easier to close but I’m guessing this will come with time. Overall a pretty product.

Satisfied but tedious

This piece of furniture is a great addition to a guest room. I really like the design—it looks modern and fits beautifully with the space. The drawers have a soft-close mechanism that slows them down at the end, which is a nice touch. It also includes a safety feature that prevents all drawers from being opened at once if the unit isn’t anchored to the wall, which is especially important for homes with children.

The only downside is the finish in some areas. The joints where the rounded edges meet the horizontal and vertical panels aren’t perfectly aligned, and in a few spots the laminate seems slightly chipped. It might be worth applying a protective coating or touch-up paint to prevent further wear.

Overall, for the price, I think it’s a very good option—functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.

Great design and safety, minor finish imperfections

I purchased the Juliet bedroom set for my new apartment. It’s very pretty, and the pieces are heavy! The biggest downside to the nightstands is that they were already peeling when I took the pieces out of the boxes. It wouldn’t be so bad if there wasn’t a piece of the veneer that had peeled off the front of one of the nightstands. I feel like it’s too much of a hassle to return them, and afraid that I might just end up with another nightstand that is peeling, so I kept them. I will replace them once I find something that will be a sturdier long-term solution.

Pretty but not a long term solution

One part did not come with the holes drilled, so had to drill myself and ended up not aligning as needed. Screws were difficult to screw in all the way and straight. It’s nice looking and I have the janky side toward the bed so you can’t really tell. The drawer is not easy to open or close

the quality is very cheap, I really liked them in the photos online but once I received them they weren't the same. They give glue to stick some parts together but for the top piece where the drawer is you can literally pull it off still, even after building it.

Better Homes & Gardens Juliet Nightstand front-facing with light honey finish, rectangular top for a lamp or alarm clock, one drawer with a durable metal slide and lower open cubby for books and magazines; assembly required, suitable as bedside storage or small phone charging station.
