Light Weight

I bought two of these, one to use for trash and the other recyclables. The only issue, is that Walmart doesn't carry the right size liners and yet they sell the cans. Come on Walmart, let's get these in stock so I don't have to order them from Amazon.

walmart.com

In our house, we regularly drink my sparkling water and husband's coke zero creating lots of cans. This 14.5 gallon really has good size for at least of 3 dozens of cans and bottles for once a week recycling day. Good size and material without easily staining from the leaks.

Good Volume for Recycling Cans

Love the style and size. The 14.5 gallon bags are more expensive so I was happy to find that the 13 gal. bags fit as well. I've ordered and returned two different trash cans because they were cheaply made and lacked the soft close feature. This trash can appears to be well made and has the soft close feature.

We just received this purchase yesterday but so far we're happy with the purchase.

Works as it should. I like that the entire lid swings up to easily replace bags and holds the bag in place when shut. Nice large size perfect for standard size kitchen bags. Sometimes you get trash bins that are too small for the bag but you can really fill them up in this one.

I threw away our old trash can the second I received this one. I like the fact you can step on it and then the trash can lid just opens for you . Very convenient and big capacity. Trash bag also stays on very well. I also like its curved design. Sturdy, good quality. Highly recommend!

Great step trash can

I really love this trash can! I already have one these for about 9-10 yrs by Home %26 Gardens trash can. It's still working even with lid open/shut and step on it. It even stays up when you have to change the trash bag. This is a gift for someone. It's a 14.5 gallon, bigger than my own (13 gallon)! Hmm, I might have to upgrade my own!

Great Trash Can!

Good amount of my life spent around kitchen, I'm picky about appliances and decor here. I've been using functional circular trash bin placed outside kitchen till I came across this asethentic well designed semi circular bin. it checks all boxes I'm looking for - good build quality, capacity, and attractive. the simple mechanism to hide bag, stainless steel rim on high quality resin plastic a nice appearance and enough capacity for week load. the semi circular design fits well with the space. I'm glad for the great buy

Big capacity

The can looks nice and the step-on/open feature is handy. My can sits against a wall. When you step on the pedal to open the lid, the clearance required forces the can to move away from the wall. I am constantly pushing this can back into place throughout the day. When you line the can with a new bag, the bag stays secure ... for awhile. 3/4 full and the bag pulls in on itself. I've tried Hefty, Great Value, and Glad brand 13 gallon liners, and they all do the same thing, so the problem is the can design. I would not buy this product again

Very lightweight for such a big and expensive trashcan. IT'S PLASTIC NOT METAL. It's a 14.5 gal volume so it's kinda topheavy without any trash in it. So, I'm going to return it and buy a 16gal METAL trash can that stays where I put it.

Too lightweight and cheap plastic

This trashcan is awful, the pedal falls off every single time you push on it. They put a big sticker on the front when you buy it and you take it off and it still leaves part of the sticker on. I have tried everything to get it off I finally got it off but now it has left a visible mark all over the front of the garbage can. I would never buy this garbage can again.

Not a good Trash can!

Better Homes & Gardens Kitchen Garbage Bin, 55 Litre Plastic Semi-Round Step Trash Can, with Soft-Close Lid, Black. Front-facing semi-round black resin bin with polished stainless-steel pedal and rim, soft-close lid closed, wide pedal for hands-free use, movable lid frame shown open for bag access, visible skid-resistant base and stability bar; often used as a large recycling or laundry sorting bin in kitchens or utility rooms.
