Ease Of Assembly

Sturdiness

Wood Quality

I am very happy with this purchase. These bunk beds are strong and sturdy. Due to shipping, some of the items arrived with some minor scratches (but this is not Walmart's fault). Initially, the pieces looked flimsy, but after building it (which took about 2.5 hours) it was happily surprised. There is an option to put the ladder on either side. It fits up to an 8" mattress, but I would not recommend this height for the top bed. It only allowed two inches for the side rail to hold a child from falling off. A 6" mattress would be best. I did find myself tightening the bolts about 4 months in as it settled in from normal use (make a note to remind yourself to check now and then and retighten). The bed is strong enough to hold an adult, but I would not recommend frequent use for an adult. Overall, the kids and us (parents) are happy with the purchase and would purchase again.

Strong Twin Bunk Beds

walmart.com

The quality surpasses what I paid. Espresso color is a rich, dark brown and is beautiful. It looks like it's from a retail furniture store where I'm sure I would have paid $500+. The option to turn it into two separate twin beds is a bonus for when the kiddos get older and have their own rooms.

Love it!

The bunk bed was fairly easy to put together. The instructions were clear and all of the pieces were labeled with stickers. One post did arrive with some damage to it that appeared to have happened prior to shipping, but it ended up not being too noticeable once everything was put together. The bunk bed is very sturdy. I do wish there was an option to for the ladder to be on either side of the beds instead of just the right side, but it works for now.

Sturdy Bunk Bed

This is just what we needed! Good materials and easy enough to assemble, when the box arrived I was afraid I was going to have a difficult time trying to put it together because It was sooo heavy, it was impossible to move the box, I am a 120 lbs woman so I had to open the box and just carry piece by piece and the seperate pieces turned out pretty lightweight, I was able to assembled it just with the help of my girls (9 and 6 years old) in about 1 hr.
It looks great and the girls loved it.
My only complaint is that all the pieces are marked with awful stickers. I spent more time removing all the stickers without scratching the bed than putting it together.

Great bunkbed for kids!

I appreciate that the bed came in 1 long rectangular package so it easily fit in the trunk of my Impala. The pieces were clearly labeled making for easy assembly along with the directions, good quality sturdy wood material also. It took me 4 hours alone to get the bed put together but I'm sure that time could be cut way down with help. The bed is very sturdy and a beautiful black matte color. Very pleased with my purchase, quality and affordability.

Pleasantly surprised....

I'd say this is a good value for the money. You have to have reasonable expectations, though. The wood is soft, the finish is slightly marred here and there. But it appears to be solid. It went together relatively easily with 2 people. If it is going to have daily, use, you might want to consider the product protection plan for the item. Might be well worth the $7.95.

You get what you pay for...

The bed looks nice. It went up somewhat easily. As easy as possible while still being secure. Much easier to build with an allen wrench bit for your drill. My ten year old is very happy. He has a sloped ceiling in his room so we needed a bed that fit within very tight dimensions. This one fit the bill. The space between the bottom bunk and top is not a lot. Son and dog fit fine but my husband and I need to be careful when tucking him in.

A lot of space underneath the bed for storage. This has helped with legos and other building toys. It has given me sanity!

Good bed

We needed a bed for my sons bedroom and didn't want to spend a bunch dues to us just needing it fir about 6 months. You pretty much get what you pay for. Aesthetically it looked nice but was very rickety and didn't feel safe gave it put up as bunk beds so we used as 2 single twin beds. Overall you might want to pay a bit more for something more sturdy but if you're in a pinch snd need 2 twin beds this one would fit the bill.

This bed is a liability

This bunk bed was very easy to set up with the help of another person. It seems very durable, but wobbly on my hard wood floor. I placed a couple of L brackets on the stacked beds and connected them to a stud in the wall and now I feel better about it. Overall, the bed is very durable for my two little boys 8 and 4 years old.

Safe, with a minor modification

I'd estimate half the slats and wood had cracks in them. And not small cracks.

What is hard if when you have it all out of the box and partly together - and you realize you should've just returned it.

The weight limit is crazy low also. But the time you add a mattress the weight limit is even lower.

I'm glad it's just a temporary solution because this thing isn't standing the test of time.

Wood was cracked and split
