Summer ready! This is a nice candle for lounging in my backyard. Although it has a strong scent when you put it close to your nose, it burns mildly and is best for the outdoors. This will last for a while especially if you're not burning all the wicks at once.

I really like the size of this as it will last for a long time. It has a nice citronella scent perfect for keeping mosquitos away. It is not too heavy and I like the ceramic holder. It is a little too windy for it to stay lit for the picture. This is a must have for camping, home or the cottage.

Must have for mosquitos

I use this every time I’m in my balcony in the evenings! The smell isn’t too overwhelming and definitely notice less mosquitoes near me; I didn’t need a bug spray! You can obviously decide how many wicks you want to light up which is really convenient
I also love the packaging, it very aesthetically pleasing! Sometimes I just I use it as a decoration inside the house

Summer must have!!!

This candle is amazing! The citronella *actually* serves its purpose and keeps mosquitoes at bay and far, far, away. It looks cute and matches my patio decor, which is a bonus. Instructions were easy to follow as it relates to trimming the wick, and for the price it cannot be beat. Highly recommend for a mosquito free spring and summer!!

Great outdoor candle!

I've been loving the Better Homes & Gardens Citronella candle lately! The scent is fresh, clean, and not too overpowering unlike other citronella candles. It gives off a relaxing vibe while still helping keep bugs away outdoors. The candle burns evenly, lasts a long time, and the container looks so cute as patio décor too. Perfect for summer evenings outside!

Fresh scent and keep the bugs away

Ok friends. So it is May in Alberta Canada and the vibes were not vibing.  But I decided to take this beut out for a test in the grey windy weather and here's what I can say. 

It's a beautiful product. Very modern chic and will go excellent with your decor. It is also very light and would work great to bring to a picnic or camping. 

It has a bit of a plastic smell like most citronella candles but once it's been burning for a bit the fruity mango does come out a little bit but not much. Being it's a very faint 
smell I'm not sure it will help much for mosquitos aside from directly around it, making it likely most suitable for decks and patios. 

It will not stay lit in the wind. The flames are fragile so keep in mind any wind if you're near a body of water. 

It is cute, I'll definitely use it, but unfortunately I don't feel like in my area it'll be a repurchase due to needing something more weather resistant and heavy duty for mosquitoes. 

I put the candle in a few spots I would use it to show just how lovely it actually is.

Beautiful product, not as effective as desired.

We love using citronella candles in our garden! We live in a rural area with tons of bugs so we'll take all the help we can get! The scent was a bit overpowering. It was like a scent bomb in our garage! Beware if you're sensitive to strong smells. The candle is large and will last a long time!

Long lasting but intense fragrance!

A pleasant scented citronella candle with a simple design that would look good with any patio set. Ideal for areas with very low levels of wind especially straight out of the box as it is prone to being blown out with the wicks quite exposed to the wind.

Pleasant smell, simple design

This candle comes in a pretty cement pot. The design feels elevated. As far as the scent, it isn’t just a straight citronella smell and the fruity smell is very synthetic, however I know many people do enjoy this. 

The pot would make a cute planter after the candle is used!
