These chairs are the same size and look as some I found at a local retail shop for over 3 times this price. There were some loose strings in the piping I needed to trim but other than that, they are perfect. They are comfortable and have held up well for the 6 months we've had them.

I needed a new chair and shopped around but they're so expensive! I had my eye on a couple... one of the chairs I really liked got awful reviews and I ended up buying TWO of these chairs for half the price of just ONE of the chairs I was thinking about buying. the other chairs were between $1000 and $3500, they were leather but I didn't think having leather was worth that much. I've had leather furniture pieces and it wears out too, with daily use.
The chairs I bought look beautiful in our space,and I can easily move them around to my liking or for entertaining.
they are oversized and have a back cushion a bit on the low side. These chairs are more for conversing than reading. Although, if the matching ottoman were to be added you could easily read (or nap!).
the seat cushions are a little hard, but not uncomfortable. I believe they will get more soft with age. 
The cream fabric? Not sure it will maintain it's appearance(stay pristine) but I have a pretty good upholstery cleaner that works wonders.
My husband and I are very happy with our purchase..
Price? Very good!

Absolutely LOVE these chairs. I purchased two of them for my front sitting room along with a green velvet sofa and they complement each other beautifully. They're comfortable, cozy, and large enough to seat myself and my two small dogs snugly. They arrived each in a fairly large box; all we had to do was attach the legs and place the top cushion in place. Easy. And affordable!

I am in love with this chair. It is so easy to assemble,  just attach the legs and it's ready to be use. And it is spacious. It's true when you sit down the cushion it's a little hard but the back pillow is very soft and I'm pretty sure with the more time you used it. It will soften up. The wood at the bottom makes the chair looks expensive. My living room  needs a few more things but for so far is looking good. Also shipping was quick I got it in two days.

For the money, this is an exceptional chair.  Fabric is durable (I've spilled red wine on it and it cleans up beautifully), and the construction is surprisingly solid.  I would highly recommend this chair.

Love this chair, and I'm so glad I bought two. Arms are a bit hard, but nothing a throw pillow can't fix. Me and my daughter can snuggle up in this with extra room to spare, which is exactly what I wanted. Love, love, love.

Very comfortable, easy to put together. larger than I realized but looking forward to lounging . It's quickly becoming my favorite chair in the livingroom

My dad %26 brother in law were able to assemble this chair within 15 minutes of unboxing it. It's much larger than I expected (which is perfect)  %26 super comfy. I love it %26 highly recommend :)

This oversized chair is great! It feels very comfortable to sit on with ample back support. I was worried it would be too shallow , but I can sit on it with my legs curled to the side (I'm 5'6). Assembly was a breeze. I just had to wrestle it out of the enormous box it arrived in and add 4 feet. The wood trim appears lighter to me in person, so I'll probably stain the darker. The back and seat cushions are removable with zippered covers. However, the manufacturer says they can't be washed or dry cleaned. Spot clean only.  Bummer. The linen textured fabric is not as soft as I expected, but still nice. Overall, comfortable and pretty.

Beautiful chair in a giant box!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Better Homes %26 Gardens chair I ordered is well made and looks great in my home. My only issue is the strong chemical odor. The smell filled my entire living room and made me feel ill for several days. I had planned to buy the matching ottoman, but I've decided not to because of the odor.

We have had this chair for 9 months and the material on the chair is pilling all over.
