I love the valance, it looks perfect in the bedrooms at my lake cottage. I needed something to dress up the cheap blinds I have on the windows.

Heavy chenille on curtains is not my thing.  I wanted a sheerer sort of chenille, I guess.  They are really pretty, though.  I would think that the chenille pattern would warm up a room.
