I Love this Better Trends cotton chenille double wedding ring bedspread! It's more medium weight than lightweight.  I have a queen size bed and the top of my mattress sits 24 inches from the floor and the spread comes to a little over an inch from the floor on both sides. It is long enough to cover the pillows and still hit's the floor.  No need for shams .It's Beautiful and reminds me of grandmas. I washed it according to directions and did have to dry it on air dry 3 times to get the lint off but it was totally worth it. I didn't put it on my bed till after I washed it,  so I wouldn't have  noticed  any shrinkage. Because it's cotton, after a week on my bed it  does seem like it's stretching and hanging a little longer now. Shipping was fast and the price was better than the many other stores I found.
