I tried this mix for the first time and the cookies were delicious. In fact, I had a squirrel sitting at my open window, looking in. Seems that squirrels love peanut butter cookies too.

Makes an excellent cookie

The directions, while printed rather small, were spot on.  I don't understand the “wishy-washy” reviews!  I got 31 decent sized cookies, plopped a Hershey kiss on each one, worked perfectly.  I'm happy to have dessert for company this weekend.  I will purchase this and other flavors in the future.  Thank you for an easy to make cookie!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Betty Crocker bag cookie mix is really good.  It's a quick fix when unexpected company is on their way, but it taste like you put it together piece by piece instead of just adding a few ingredients to make it taste delicious.  Sometimes I add chocolate chips, nuts or I make sandwich cookies by putting a spoonful of ice cream between 2 of them, yummy.  try it, it's certainly easy to use and really delicious.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have made homemade peanut butter cookies and to tell you the truth, I do not notice a difference other than the amount of time it takes.  What I really like is that Betty Crocker Cookie Mixes are just a few ingredients and makes just a couple dozen cookies so you can have fresh, warm cookies in no time and any time.  Also, just enough for two people to have treats for a few days if you can control yourself not to eat them all right away.  Very good!

After reading through the reviews - many critical - I used 2 Tb oil, 1Tb water, 1 egg and 2 Tb peanut butter. Because a chocolate and peanut butter combination is a favorite here, I added 1/4 cup of smallish chocolate chips. I let the dough sit for a few minutes, then mixed it again so that it didn't seem powdery.  I made the smaller size cookies, baking them for 10 minutes. There have been no complaints.  There are also none left.

Betty crocker  cookie mix is so simplistic and quick and foolproof, I've been using it for years.  I love having to make something sweet when time is short.  I must add though, the only way to go wrong is not knowing your oven!  I know my oven heats up hotter than the called for Temps.  Easy solution, just lower the temp and the baking times.  Since we love our cookies chewy, they come out perfect every time!

I added two tablespoons of brown sugar and two tablespoons of smooth peanut butter to the mix,   smooshed it in, then added the wet ingredients. I scooped out 12 big cookies, and they came out great.  So great, I don't see a need to make from scratch ever again.

The cookies came out delicious but were flat not fluffy.  I was baking at an elevation of 6500 feet.  Should I make any adjustment to the recipe to account for the high elevation???

Made exactly as directed and am very disappointed with the end result.  No distinguishable peanut or peanut butter taste, overly sweet leaving a faint oily residue in my mouth.  I do not recommend.  Make your own cookies using real and wholesome ingredients rather than this mix of lab-made products.

Terrible

First, let me say I am a very experienced baker.  I bought these because I wanted to try something quick and easy.  The texture came out fine and they looked perfect.  Only problem, there is absolutely zero peanut butter taste to these cookies.  They taste like nothing.  Had I not sprinkled a little sugar on top before baking, they wouldn't even taste very sweet.  Will no buy again.
