I tried this mix for the first time and the cookies were delicious. In fact, I had a squirrel sitting at my open window, looking in. Seems that squirrels love peanut butter cookies too.

Makes an excellent cookie

The directions, while printed rather small, were spot on.  I don't understand the “wishy-washy” reviews!  I got 31 decent sized cookies, plopped a Hershey kiss on each one, worked perfectly.  I'm happy to have dessert for company this weekend.  I will purchase this and other flavors in the future.  Thank you for an easy to make cookie!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Betty Crocker bag cookie mix is really good.  It's a quick fix when unexpected company is on their way, but it taste like you put it together piece by piece instead of just adding a few ingredients to make it taste delicious.  Sometimes I add chocolate chips, nuts or I make sandwich cookies by putting a spoonful of ice cream between 2 of them, yummy.  try it, it's certainly easy to use and really delicious.

For practically INSTANT COOKIES, these are REALLY GREAT. I looked at reviews first to see if I could doctor them to make them more homemade. I followed another's suggestion of decreasing Oil to 2 TBSP and added 1/4 cup of Peanut Butter. I made 12 Large Cookies that were DELISH. The large I baked at 350 for 11 min.
For the 2nd Batch, I added a large handful of Milk Chocolate Chips and made 12 more smaller cookies. They were even MORE DELICIOUS!! I baked the smaller cookies for 10 min.  
For not dragging out all of the ingredients to make home made, these were FANTASTIC. I highly recommend doctoring !!  Not much to clean up too. I'm all about reading reviews to see if anyone has done something interesting. Good Luck :)

Betty crocker  cookie mix is so simplistic and quick and foolproof, I've been using it for years.  I love having to make something sweet when time is short.  I must add though, the only way to go wrong is not knowing your oven!  I know my oven heats up hotter than the called for Temps.  Easy solution, just lower the temp and the baking times.  Since we love our cookies chewy, they come out perfect every time!

The cookies came out delicious but were flat not fluffy.  I was baking at an elevation of 6500 feet.  Should I make any adjustment to the recipe to account for the high elevation???

Made exactly as directed and am very disappointed with the end result.  No distinguishable peanut or peanut butter taste, overly sweet leaving a faint oily residue in my mouth.  I do not recommend.  Make your own cookies using real and wholesome ingredients rather than this mix of lab-made products.

First, let me say I am a very experienced baker.  I bought these because I wanted to try something quick and easy.  The texture came out fine and they looked perfect.  Only problem, there is absolutely zero peanut butter taste to these cookies.  They taste like nothing.  Had I not sprinkled a little sugar on top before baking, they wouldn't even taste very sweet.  Will no buy again.

For many, many years my favorites were Peanut Butter and also Oatmeal Chocolate Chip but even it is way different now and much more bland. Night before my daughters fundraiser I TRIED to make these PB cookies. I followed the “simple 3 easy step” recipe on the back of the bag and the dough was so dry half the mix wouldn't hold together. I tried tweaking the recipe by getting my hands wet and kneading the dough and finally got the dough to form the little balls. I baked them at 350 as instructed and had to take them out after only 4 minutes because the bottoms were getting too brown. Totally annoyed knowing I couldn't take these to the fundraiser I went ahead and put them in the cookie jar thinking “kids will eat anything”.
