Scale came with batteries already in place - just pull a tab to activate - doesn't get much easier than that.

I was concerned about accuracy, but the displayed weight matches my postal scale, so that's reassuring.

The built-in (press a button to retract) measuring tape is a nice bonus.

We couldn't care less about the Bluetooth connectivity and do wish there was a way to disable the feature, so we wouldn't see "APP" flashing every time the scale is powered on.

We are very happy with our new Beurer Baby Scale and I am very excited to have a scale that accurately measures and weighs my baby to the ounce as I track and enjoy seeing her Weight gain each week!! I especially like the Hold Option as newborns tend to wiggle so much and this scale has the options needed to help with those little movers Thank you

Fantastic Baby scale

Our infant son sometimes has difficulty eating so we need to keep close track of how much he eats by weighing before and after each feed.  Our lactation consultant let us borrow a scale for a while but eventually we needed our own.  Her scale cost over $500.  Ours cost less than $50.  They both give the same numbers.

The bluetooth feature is helpful because it automatically saves the weights.  You don't have to worry about writing down a weight while holding a baby or remember to write it down.  It sends it to the phone and the phone automatically calculates the difference for you.  It's very helpful for us.  The app takes a little getting used to but is perfectly serviceable once you do.

The one issue we've had with it is that it isn't quite as large as the expensive scale we had been using.  That, the fact that the edges slope downward, and the fact that it's quite short, cause baby arms and legs to hang off and touch the surface the scale is sitting on, leading to incorrect weights.  The key is to set it on something that is almost exactly the same size as the scale so that arms and legs don't touch anything when they hang over.

Very good once you learn the tricks.

We purchased this scale to weigh our 5  lb toy poodle.  Don't know how good it is for kiddos but for our toy poodle it's perfect.  Good quality, nice size area for pet to stand or lay to weigh.

Perfect for smaller pets

This product is amazing it Bluetooth to your phone and store the weight I use this for my toddler and my 5 month old and neighed of them seem uncomfortable laying or standing on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a great scale to have. It's very accurate and looks adorable. I love being able to easily weigh my son in between doctors visits. It really gives me piece of mind knowing my son is growing and gaining weight at a good rate. 
The instructions were easy to follow and it came with batteries, so i was able to use it right out of the box. It has a curved design that makes me feel secure and comfortable laying my son on it. Its very lightweight and slim, so its easy to store and move around. 
It includes a measuring tape built into the side to measure length and head circumference. It's also very easy to switch between pounds, ounces, and kilograms with the switch at the bottom of the scale. 
Its Bluetooth enabled and connects to an app where you can transfer the data from the scale to your phone. The app was easy to install, and to set up a profile for my baby. The app has sections to keep track of everything, from feedings, to sleep, weight, height, head circumference ect.
It's also very handy for weighing my cat and dog as well. It has a hold function that makes it easier to get an accurate weight with a wiggling baby or pet. It also has a tara function to zero out the weight of anything extra, like a blanket or diaper. The weight limit for this scale is 44 lbs, so I'll be able to use this well into the toddler years. I definitely recommend this scale.

Easy to use and accurate

It seems have a nice quality feel to it as well as the price but the only thing that is a slight issue. Sometimes if theres movement on the scale it doesnt want to hold the weight and you have to guess Which isnt too bad youre within 10th (0.1) of a pound about an ounce and a half (1 ounce equals 0.6)

Very nice, easy to use but it take a couple tries

Only reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars was because of the app. I just received this scale today and used it for each baby (2yr old, who is a bit underweight) and a 3 month old.. the scale is super lightweight and good size. Seemed to get a precise weight for both kids, since it matched the doctors weight check 1 week ago. It was a little complicated using the app ESPECIALLY because the lbs shown on the scale marks in KG on the app when transferring it.. would be good if the app could let you convert it to lbs for record keeping. The measuring tape is a nice add to the scale too.  Overall I like the Beurer baby scale and look forward to using it for a few more yrs :)

Recently bought this to check weight of my baby periodically,The scale works perfect.It has options to check weight in both lbs and kg.Its sleek and compact.It comes with required batteries.Also has Bluetooth connectivity for connectivity with apps.overall good scale to buy

Good baby scale

It was not precise. The weight would change every time we laid out baby on it. Showed she lost 2 ounces in 4 hours. Just not reliable for what we need it for.
