I have tried a number of matte lip stains ( I am so busy during the day, I don't have time to keep reapplying lipstick), and this is by far the best. It is smooth going on and stays through eating and talking without getting cakey or dry. Also great colors.

I love that it is long wear and nontoxic. Took me so long to find it. It does come off when you eat something greasy, but that is typical of long wear lip color. The only thing I'm sad about is not being able to own all the colors!

I love your new lip stain! It stays on and is super hydrating. I pair it with Jane's lip gloss and it gives me even more hydration, and exceptional shine!!

This is a game changer!

Love this stain. I love the color hoping it won't be discontinued, Temptation. I will say my lips feel much better when I use a gloss over the stain. I rarely wear it solely as I think it can be drying. But try with a gloss over it's a perfect duo.

Beautiful lips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Color is exactly as appears online, once it dries in less than 30 seconds the color stays the whole day and best of all it is non drying. Love this lip stain.

Best lip stain!

The texture and coverage are fabulous. Unfortunately, both the colors I purchased are the worst! I will need to return. I thought they would be very subtle colors but instead looked awful on me. Here's a tip to help remove -apply a clear gloss over the top of the lip stain and wipe with a damp cloth. It will come off easier.

Wrong colors

Awesome color pay off. Don't fall for the peel off stains. When I asked them how come almost every color turned the same red on me they said that was because of some people‘s pH. However, it's very interesting that Jane Iredale‘s colors always do the right color. I trust Jane‘s ingredients as well. Used it for years. Thank you so much Jane for bringing us great products. And beautiful stains. Now let's have a lip liner stain? That would be fun. Although I guess you could use the liquid liquid lip and just line the lips with that.

Great stains much better for lips

The color is beautiful and I love the velvety feel when putting it on. It dries quickly and does not make my lips feel dry. However, I find that after I eat I have to apply a touch up.

Beautiful and moisturizing
