I always want this pot but it was so expensive on Amazon. So I looked around and found a great deal on Walmart for this pot and I ordered it right away. 
Great quality pot, easy to use and came in a nice box, no scratch or anything like that. I use it for pasta noodles, other types of noodles and I sometimes use it to cook a whole chicken. It fits perfectly.

It's replacing a 20 year old still functioning non stick aluminum Bialetti pasta pot which I love.

Bialetti 6 quart pasta pot

Needed to replace our original Bialetti Pasta pot that had a non stick coating that was starting to scrape off after over 10 years of use. Love the concept of this pasta pot - oval design, clamping lid to drain water when done - and the stainless steel material makes it pretty and eliminates the need to deal with a non stick coating that's not really necessary when boiling pasta. Can also be used as a soup/stew pot. Happy with purchase.

Worth the money

Beauty stainless steel pot.  Lid works great to strain. It's oblong, so it holds larger items.  No forever chemical coatings.  Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice heavy materials, Liked the ease of unlocking and locking the lid and that the lid was metal not glass.  Did not burn the noodles or leave residue on bottom inside.  Nice size, but in description it said 5 Qt. but when I got it it was the same size as my 6 Qt. pot, I almost did not get it because of that

Great product

I love this pot! Got for mostly making pasta but I have used it for making stews and soups and it's great! Manufacturer should give recommendations for care to keep pot shining and new looking.

The dimensions are incorrect in the listing. It appears that the width and height measurements are reversed. Returning this.

I purchased the Bioletti 6-quart pot in "stainless steel," because of health concerns over non-stick coatings degrading and contaminating food.

Today, I browned one pound of ground beef on the first use of this pot. Perhaps I had the gas flame too high, but the cooked ground beef left highly visible stains on the lower interior walls of the new pot. The stains were most difficult to remove, and I had to use Bar Keepers Friend and a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to remove about 98% of the stains.

Unfortunately, I purchased the Bioletti pot over 40 days ago, and did not actually use it until today. If the STAINING pot was within 30 days of purchase, it would would be returned for a refund.

No, I would not recommend Bioletti stainless steel products.
