The blanket is warm and the heat is distributed evenly. However, the heat controller is faulty. It shuts off but the light is still on. Also, the level of heat is sporadic. With it turned all the way up to high, it may still feel cool. Then every so often it will get very hot.

This is my second Biddeford warming blanket. I have the grey one and this time I ordered it in light beige with sherpa lining. 
It comes out of the washer softer and brighter. It also saves a lot of money on heating during Ohio winters. It's steady warming for arthritis pains!
